I've driven passed this park 1000 times, and who knew such a nice park was tucked away in this heavily metropolitan area. There's a beautiful artificial turf soccer field, tennis courts, asphalt basketball courts, and a few resistance based workout machines on the eastern portion of the park as well as pull up and parallel bars.
They also have 3 or 4 different playgrounds for kids for kids of all ages. The coolest thing by far, they have mini zip lines! One is a rope you grip with a small pedestal, and the other is a chair you can strap into. It took my full restraint to not stand in line with the kids and have it a go.

Read moreI went there to practice soccer since they have two pretty excellent soccer fields with synthetic grass and one of them has a fence around it. The only drawback to the soccer field is that I've seen that when dog owners walk their dogs, they don't always pick up the poop. The park features a dog park, and the environment is incredibly lovely and friendly for dogs. You'll see many dogs playing fetch there, and the dogs are also quite well behaved.
