Birria On Broadway — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Okay the scoop on this place:

No seating area. Just a window to order from off the street. The guy was cool it’s just when I asked him what something was he just pointed to a picture of it and didn’t describe it at all. He was like that’s what it is… Which isn’t very helpful if you don’t know what something is…The food is tasty and I feel the portion sizes are adequate BUT the meat sits in some sort of broth and they don’t properly strain it enough before they put it in the tortilla. What ends up happening is when you take the food back home with you (since you can’t eat there) it gets soggy.

I got the combo plate which essentially is just Birria in different forms but tastes all the same. Maybe it’s suppose to be like that and I just missed the point. I walked there from a friends house. Took like 3 minutes. That means from the time I got my food to when I sat down to eat it was max 5 minutes. ( I ate as soon as I walked in the door, no flipping through movie selections or even to find a drink I just busted it open lol) My food was 50% soggy. The crunch ones were really good I think the preparation process just needs to be fixed. Overall, unless you plan to eat it as soon as it comes out then maybe not the...

I got the quesitaco plate which comes with a drink and ordered one asada taco on the side for my son. I had the option of red or green sauce I choose green ,the green sauce was spicy & delicious! I rate the taco 10/10 it was a lot of meat and the cheese was just the right amount everything was super good and the staff was very friendly and inviting it was a young guy who took my order and I love seeing multi-race employees shows there is no racism here just smiles and good food I will be back for sure & im telling my friends and all locals if the topic ever comes up on where to get a good birra taco ❤️❤️❤️

I got a pink lemonade it was super sweet I had to add water but my age is showing I’m sure the young folks love the sweet drinks I on the other hand had to add some water 😂

It’s a walk up window to order the only seating is the bench shown in the picture below but I didn’t mind because I live very close so I just eat at home and food was still hot and my tacos...

I am a regular Barria on Broadway customer for many years. I always receive conscientious service. The food is fresh, delicious, and the portions are very generous. They easily beat out every taco stand in the neighborhood!!

Fresh ingredients. Quality meats. The Chicken tacos are my favorite. They take debit and credit cards. There's no parking. In good weather there's some outdoor seating. Otherwise, take out and delivery. Small location.

The hours are inconsistent because of California beauracracy and prejudice against licenced brick and mortar businesses.

I guarantee you that whatever inconvenience there is, it is worth the trouble. The food is delicious!
