As the owner of the company, Scott was very busy but I understood why because they have a lot of clients. Despite that, he always responded to my concerns, worked with me on pricing so that I was able to afford it, kept his every word and delivered on his promises with the highest level of integrity. I work everyday so I was nervous about not being present for any of the actual work, but the crew (whom I never even met until the end) started on time, worked everyday and did an incredibly fantastic job. I would come home and see they were extremely efficient, took great care to protect everything in the house even including my dog! The foreman Elio kept in contact w me by phone to ask specific questions and sent me pictures whenever necessary. Although he wasn't always on site, he closely monitored his capable crew, was always available (except when he when he had poor cell phone reception), answered any Qs I had as soon as he could and was always communicating with his team so i trusted him. Without having met them at all, from the first day and everyday I came home afterward, I was extremely impressed with how professional, careful, considerate and hardworking they were. The process took longer than I expected because I didn't quite know what was involved but everday I saw the progress and Elio explained it required multiple coats to achieve the glaze finish I had requested - the final result was even more beautiful than I imagined. When I finally had a few days off to be there at the end, I met some of the crew and as I watched them, I was so impressed with their talents and expert abilities. Jorge created the exact glaze finish I was looking for using multiple shades and layers which were so perfectly applied with a steady hand like an artist. Juan is extremely knowledgeable about cabinetry and he spent hours painstakingly aligning and realigning the doors to make them all straight and even. They were also so kind, polite, friendly and considerate. They all worked together so well like brothers and I was so happy to hear them joking, laughing and see them watching some video clips together during their breaks. When they were finally finished with the job, I felt guilty asking them to make a few spots a little lighter/darker or readjust some of the doors a bit but the next day Elio himself came with Jorge and in just a few hours, they fixed everything promptly and willingly with no complaints. I was a bit nervous about doing such a big project - but in 3 weeks, they taped and papered all the floors and cabinet/drawer contents, put up temporary "walls" to protect the rest of the house from aerosol sprays, primed and refinished every cabinet in my house including a large kitchen, 4 bathrooms, laundry room, hallway cabinets and wet bar with a multicoat/multicolor handfinished glaze shade and spray painted the kitchen island with a beautiful solid color. I couldn't be happier with the process, the final product, the workmanship, the professionals who did the job and Scott. My entire house now looks like brand new, high end construction....

Feel very fortunate to have found Scott, Nathan and his team on Angie's list and cant praise them highly enough. Genuine and honest. Before we found Cabinet Refresh we went through a long winded exercise to find the right company to understand that we wanted to maintain as much of the existing integrity that the original carpenters built in our 60 year old kitchen. Scott and Nathan understood the quality of the workmanship back then. Much of the existing wood we wished to keep except the doors. We now have the best of both worlds with an incredible result matched by no kitchens under $30,000 at least, for a little over a third the price. His team are a solid group of lovely people that I felt happy to have in my house each day, that were only interested in doing a great job and proud of their efforts which I respected very much. Scotts eye and passion for his work I picked up on immediately. I could tell that he knew exactly the result I was wanting to achieve and in fact superseded my expectations by the end result going the extra mile to ensure a perfect result. He even helped me choose the best choice of hardware which now just give everything that extra WOW factor. His carpenters are fantastic, rebuilding custom cabinets where required where the part of the existing kitchen was no longer functional. I now have solid base and solid doors and it looks amazing.
