I didn’t learn anything at Harvard Park because, at first, I thought it was a school. With a name like that, I expected classrooms, professors, maybe even a library filled with old books and deep knowledge waiting to be uncovered. I walked in, ready to expand my mind, only to find trees, benches, and a couple of basketball courts. No lectures, no students frantically taking notes—just joggers, dog walkers, and kids playing on the grass. I even looked around for a building that might house some kind of learning center, but all I found were picnic tables and a playground. It didn’t take long to realize that the only lesson Harvard Park had to offer was that sometimes, things aren’t as fancy as their names suggest. If I gained anything from the experience, it was the reminder that not every place is meant for learning—some are just meant for relaxing, and...
Read moreI really like this park. Especially for the kids. Both young and a little older. Even the grownups can have loads of fun here. It has lots of grass and a couple baseball fields. A trail with soft green terrain to run on. Basketball courts, Tennis courts, as well as an indoor gym with hoops and hardwood flooring. Not to ,mention the skate park with a variety of ramps and rails. Then for the smaller kids it has a playground with some cool games and get ons. My favorite part is the obstacle course that they built there. Almost like Ninja Warrior, It's awesome. But wait, there's more. Because of the pamdemc, it's been closed for a while now but it does include a pool under the sun that has a couple miniature Hurricane Harbor rides. And the last of it, there is parking fokes. Much of it too. Like my reviews...
Read moreI bring my child here since it’s walking distance from my home. Parking is free .The playground and obstacle course are usually dirty, with some graffiti on playground equipment. People can often be seen walking/ playing with their dogs, so watch out for poop. (i’ve had to clean poop off my kids shoe more than once; 1/10 experience, would not recommend). The restrooms close later in the day. There are usually cops that patrol, but they’re not always there. I recently had an unpleasant experience with unsupervised children shouting inappropriate words at me, so unfortunately i would not recommend this park if you are just there for the playground. Other than that, there is a field, track, basketball courts, tennis courts, skatepark, pool, and a few...
