My friends took me here to celebrate my birthday and boy was it delicious. The first thing you should be aware coming here is that it's street parking so just look around. They made reservations ahead of time and for a Friday night, they were busy. When we got seated our waiter came to introduce himself and took our drinks order. For our appetizers we started off with the empanadas, we got 2 orders so we can get all the different type. They also give complimentary bread here as well. Our favorite empanadas was the beef because of the taste, the chicken had a more sweet taste to it. The ham & chesee was okay but I didn't like the spinach one. For our entrée, we all went with the Bife De Chorizo which is their 16oz NY steak. We all got it medium rare and they cooked it perfectly, the seasoning was spot on and it was very tender. I got regular fries for my side and it was crispy. We finish off the night with my ice cream in a cup and they sang happy birthday to me. The service we received was great, our waiter was attentive to us.

Went here for date night during the DineLA menu experience. My wife opted for the $55 pre fixed dine la menu while I opted for their standard menu. Interestingly enough their dine la menu is completely different than their everyday menu. Restaurant is quaint, bar is nice and space is tight. On a Friday night the house was packed to the brim. Only outdoor seating was available. Food was prepped and made with precision. The empanadas were the best. Freshly rolled dough, with delicious beef and spinach and cheese fillings! The chimichurri sauce was fresh. The pork was fall off the bone. The entrana aka skirt steak was cooked perfectly, medium rare and presented nicely with 3 sauces for dipping, with mash potatos and roasted veggies. The scallops were in their shell with a fresh apple salad. Free Parking in the back or on the street. All in all Bodega Malbec is a great place to Dine. I would come back! Very solid Argentinian steak house.

Second time and the most awkward experience From the beginning to the end .it felt like we were in a fast food restaurant. I was so embarrassed by their behavior.I brought a friend (she was inviting me for my Birthday) she arrived a little late but we kept ordering, it was not like we were taking space .. WE DONT DRINK. And I guess that must been the reason that they were hurrying Us. They were almost taking our plates away from under our faces. The guy started cleaning the table before serving us or giving Us a chance to order desert to me they were racists? Or prejudice because we were not dress with good clothing? We were coming from a Camp in UCLA we spent all day there. And we were looking forward to a nice dinner. Since last year we ate there for the first time during lunch.PERFECT. This time food was not as good as that time.I ordered the same thing Beets and pears Salad , and ñoquis last time had this lamb sauce which it surpassed my expectation and satisfaction.the ñoquis melt in my mouth this time the sauce was watery and vegetables were too big for my taste and it had Spanish sauge .no cheese was offered .EVERY thing it sale separate .This was a very important ocasión for me, my new friend wanted to taste this super expensive place that I suggested and my Grandson love my cooking specially chicken Napolitana he left a bite and it ocoured to me to taste and I discovered that was not a chicken fillet but a prepackaged chicken patty. It tasted just like a Costco or Stater Brother frozen patty. I feel horrible ..my Grandson spent all day running waiting to taste good food . We were Five, our bill run $220.00 plus$40.00 for tip which we don’t believe they deserve it. They seat Us close to loud annoying customers we couldn’t even hear ourselves .We thought about asking to move us outside but it would have made them react even worse.meat was perfectly grill but it took forever to bring it.We ended up...

We searched high and low in our area for a interesting Dine LA menu for a reasonable price and settled on Malbec. We made 7:00pm reservations via open table and when we arrived, they sat us at a small table (normally meant for two) and denied our request for a larger table or booth because of "reservations". We had a sour taste in our mouth from the lack of accommodation but we were determined to give them a chance to redeem themselves through their food.

We ordered the Ceviche appetizer, steak with blue cheese entree and the crepe dessert. The power of the restaurant cut out before we even received our bread, the heater was cut off and because we were sitting next to a window, we were chilly from the cold. The food was good, I really liked the tangy lime flavor of the Ceviche. Their steak was very small portioned but enjoyable because it was slathered in the creamy cheese sauce (it was served with sweet potato fries which were good and some broccolini which was fine). The steak itself was pretty salty but I enjoy salt so I was fine. The dessert was served with a delicious vanilla ice cream but the crepe was cold by the time it reached our table which was a bit of a downer because I look forward to having a warm & cold dessert.

Overall the food was good but not worth the $39 they were charging for the...

Literally just left bodega 20 minutes ago. Made a reservation today for 8:45 Got a call at 8:43 asking where we were at, which I think you would get 5 minutes after. When we walked in at 8:45 exactly and we checked in with the hostess she was setting us up outside in the front patio away to which it was chilly and rather empty (but even though it had a heater I normally am just cold). Plus a homeless guy had just walked down the street before so I asked to go inside, and to the back which is partially outside but mostly enclosed and less exposed as the porch. She asked someone and then she told us the back was being shut down because of parties even though it was 8:45 PM and the kitchen did not close till 10. So we decided inside and even though it was not busy at all and plenty of open tables everywhere she sat us at the only table that was less than 5 feet away from the toilet and in the most busy walkway possible. After that no one came over for a few minutes but servers were standing there whispering back-and-forth. So even though we had been there for a few times and had a great experience, it seemed like that was the night not to go as the hostess seemed to be in a very bad mood and not very pleasant. We went down to a bar and had bar...
