Rude! I followed directions and waited outside far the bartender to let me know if there was an available seat for me to order. I waited patiently but was ignored. Then I yelled in to her to ask if there was a seat available, and she says yes. It would have been nice to have acknowledged in the first place. I go in and sit down. And I wait some more. I wait while she carries on a conversation with the lady at the other end of the bar who already had a drink. I welcome, how are you, do you know what you want to drink. So I got up and left. I have a specific scale I use when rating any restaurant I go to. Three things: atmosphere, food quality/price, and service. I have to say this place was a gem. I live right down the road and the we got there it had a nice intimate light setting with a tastefully decorated interior. Not a very large shop but it's perfect to come in and sample some wine and talk with the bar tender before making your purchase. Was really happy to have stumbled into this wine bar after having dinner nearby. When we arrived it was about 6:30 so we were able to get seats at the bar. The woman bartender (her name is escaping me) was very helpful and poured us some samples so we could choose the right wine. We decided to split another glass and her pour was very generous.
