Buongiorno Pizza E Pasta — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Charged me $20 for a toddlers portion of chicken Alfredo that tasted mediocre at best… and I really mean at best

Update: After being upset with that kids meal of a pasta I ordered their $6 pizza hoping it might save face for what I just experienced. Upon going back to order I saw dude in the back grabbing partially pre cooked pasta out of a big tray with his bare hands to put into boiling water. I took one bite of the pizza and it tasted like air and grease.. I kid you not air and grease. They could care less about customer service and I honestly wish I could have a personal conversation with the owner.

DO NOT BY ANY MEANS SPEND A PENNY HERE, if it was within my power I would see to it that they went out of business immediately. This review doesn’t do justice of the experience I just had, there’s actually a few other negative things I could point out but just don’t feel like typing it all. Not sure how this place got 4.3 stars but people in LA don’t really know what quality food is, they’ll call jack in the box good so I’m not really surprised.. should I mention they don’t clean up after customers, I saw two tables with leftovers completely unattended to.. should I also point out.. nvm not worth my time, wish I could get...

I ordered from Buongiorno Pizza E Pasta through Grubhub, but it shows up as a different name. Instead they are called Pizzeria Mamma Rosa, which was a little confusing at first. I ordered a large margherita pizza, which was just... fine.

Delivery time was quick, and the pizza arrived hot and fresh, which is always a good sign for the taste. Their sauce had a nice little spicy kick to it, and I really liked the flavor. The cheese had a salty taste to it, which I was not a fan of but the sauce held it together. The pizza dough was a letdown. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Didn't have any real hold or structure. It's that kind of pizza when you pick up it just flops. Maybe it needed some more cooking time?.

This place is definitely what I consider utility pizza. A spot that is dependable when you're craving something cheesy and hot, but probably not a place that you would go out your own way for.

So far I’ve only had the pizza here, but I have to say I’m a little disappointed. The price doesn’t match the pizza. $17 for a large pepperoni pizza, thin crust. Size wise it’s good, but you don’t get the bang for your buck. The pizza lacks flavor, it has minimal marinera sauce, if any. They also cut the slices way to small, and the cheese has no flavor. I will give them credit for the crust, it’s very nice and brown, with right out of the over flavor. But I didn’t pay $17 for just the crust. Customer service is not the best, I phoned in the order, and the young lady who answered seemed like she was rushing. She didn’t even ask me if I wanted anything else with my order. When I got there, she just charged, still didn’t ask me if I wanted anything else. Rang me up, didn’t offer any utensils, plates or cheese/ red pepper. Not a single thing.
