Carls jr makes the best oreo shakes and this time tastes great and was made very fast like a fast food drive through should. My only piece of constructive critisism and why i marked it zero (jk thats a big lebowski reference) i mean 4/5 nstead of 5/5 is that if i were making the shakes , and yes ive made plenty i used to work at a place called mr gills been around for 70plus years in the farmers market over off fairfax by the grove, served alot or scoops and also smoked pot with the owmers son who i assume is now the owner after work hotboxing the freezer, this was about 20 or so years ago it was the summer of 02 i worked there with my friend taylor he lasted about a week then got my friend randy a job and he still stopped accepting my collect calls from the county the following year, Ijust didnt know any other landlines, anyway i would refrain from wiping the grill residue into the top part of the cup. Manager needs to learn customer service skills. Paid for a double cheeseburger meal and for the second time now they put slider patties which are half the size of the normal patties used. Told me they ran out after I complained. I would have ordered something else if I would have known. Then the "manager" gave me an attitude for returning the burger, and offered me a spicy chicken sandwich. Should have offered me another burger similar in price with normal sized patties, but offered me something cheaper. I have been a customer there for over 3 years now and go about 3 to 4 times a month with my wife and 2 boys, spending $25 to $35 each time. I don't think we will be going back. Thanks for ripping off your loyal customer. I wonder if the owner even cares. We were there 5/5 and tonight 5/9 and same unhappy, rude "manager" lady was there. I could vent more but we are now hungry and tired and out $25. Thanks...

No value here at all anymore. The signs and ads lure you in but the prices and deception at each location are ridiculous to the extint of not going back. For example, the " dollar any size drink deal " find a Carls in Van Nuys selling anything but medium drinks at that drive thru... You pulled a miracle. Always out of everything. The two for 6 menu? Lol. Here in the San Fernando Valley, "and only here". Look closely at that poster on the window. The two zeros at the end of the 6 are usually miraculously transformed to a pair of 9's. The handmade shakes are another one. The cup is sufficient for an infant that needs sippy cup size. Tiny! And 95% of time out of whipped cream. This place used to be the number one choice. Now it's garbage. Using franchise name and not rules or prices. Only in SFV....
