I stopped by Casa Torres today for lunch with my wife because we were in the area for her doctor appointment and she was hungry afterwards. I haven't been to Casa Torres since we first started dating so it was years ago. When we came, there was parking because parking is limited here especially if you come at night time. We got seated quick since it didn't look like they were busy. Our waiter came to take our order and I believe he was the only waiter working at the time. I got a soda and he brought it out quick but it tasted flat. My wife got the horchata and she loved her drink. My wife got the Arroz Con Pollo basically chicken with rice and she liked it. I got the nachos with grilled chicken and I did not like my food. They didn't give you a lot of cheese or chicken and there was no salsa at all. So I used the salsa that came with the chips which helped a little bit. I would not recommend the nachos. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Salad and Chile Relleno to go for my friends parent since they live nearby. The waiter sounds confused when I asked for the to go order to be on a separate check until my wife asked him in Spanish.

Ambiance : Music was painfully loud and Im used to loud . They had a mariachi which I love but their speakers were blasting to try to cover the music from their small bar in the next room. The bar was louder than any night club and it was just a very uncomfortable experience. I walked out with a headache. Food: Mediocre . They serves in big plates that are mainly 95% rice and beans. The food is nothing special and overpriced. We had Shirmp al mojo de ajo and it was undercooked and they used garlic seasoning instead of real garlic (8 small shrimps. I counted them). We ordered salad instead of rice and beans and don't have a single homemade dressing. The spicy salsa was basically canned chipotle chillies with some seasoning. The bacon wrapped shrimp was okay... bacon was a little burned . The taquitos were okay and enchilada was just okay. Margaritas tasted like a lemonade kool-aid. This place has so much potential the place it's really nice and they have good menu but they lack good chef and good management.

I came in today to bring my family to enjoy some good time. The food was delicious, the wait staff amazing and friendly but I asked the waiter about the rental room for a party what were the prices he said to ask the manager at the front and the manager can let me know so once we paid our food on the way out the ladies at the front I asked them if I could speak with the manager for the prices to rent it for a party with an attitude she said to call the number that they can give me the prices so I once again I asked for the manager and she said the manager wasn’t in but that I can call the number. I’ve been looking for places and this one here is the one my daughter and I loved the atmosphere and food and friendliness of the staff so. I did got the number but while I was waiting for my kids to use the restroom I asked another staff member with red hair I believe her name was Lizzette super friendly and she went and looked for the manager come to find out the manager was the same person that I spoke with earlier Mayra and I could hear her on the hall telling Lizzette that she already had told me to call the number so I told her I’m sorry that I know she had told me to call but that I’ve been looking for a place and just wanted to speak with somebody and Mayra said well you can call the number like I told you earlier they can give you the prices with such a bad tone and her face like I was bothering her so I said I have two events that are coming up and I asked are you the manager? And she said yes. So I said well good to know you’re the manager like I asked earlier she didn’t mention her being the manager. I spent $200 just to have a good time with the family this Sunday, everything was going well until I had the bad experience with Mayra and her being the manager I felt like she did not wanted to help me and I was interrupting her and brushing me off with just giving me the number. Even if she didn’t know the prices of the packages she could’ve delivered the message to a customer a lot better in a friendly tone so...

I came here with my family. To start off the hostess was on her phone. They have no idea how to greet the customers they waited for us to go to them to ask for a table for 8 people. We had tried calling to make a reservation and they said we didn't need one for 8 people, yet they told us the wait was 25 minutes when we got there. After 25 minutes we still weren't being seated and the hostess was very rude when asked when we would be seated. I asked to talk to the manager and it seemed as if he didn't want to talk to us and kept sending the hostess back to us to tell us we would be seated soon. It took about an hour to be seated. Finally one of the servers sat us down and once again I asked to speak to the manager about the service. When he finally got the courage to go to our table he apologized in a sarcastic manner and told us he couldn't kick the people out and it was an estimate time that was given to us. When we left the hostess and the same manager I spoke with were on the phone! Very horrible service from the front desk and bad example from the manager. The food was okay and the mariachi band was great and the server was wonderful. But sadly im never coming back to this place thanks to the situation they...
