If you're interested in Japanese food but want a Latino vibe, come here. It's an interesting mix of cultures and food but a great one none the less. The atmosphere is unmistakable Mexican with guys dressed up in "lucha libre" costumes and reggaeton music playing in the background. They'll through in some corridos and rap too. Honestly though, the music is too loud for a restaurant... It feels like a club. But it's not a deal breaker. The food is delicious and prepared by sushi chefs at the bar. Everything is clean and well organized and our food arrived in about 10 minutes. Very quick considering that the place was packed. Prices are fair for sushi at around 13 bux for a roll. Definitely a good night with good food.

First timer here. Thought the food was ok, but not the price. To top it off, my waiter, Eliroy, was giving me an attitude. It was a Friday night, I get it, the place gets full and overwhelming. I'm very understanding of that. We asked for napkins and water, but we never got 'em. Every time I asked Eliroy a question, he was being a smart mouth. Oh, the icing on the cake, I did not tip with my credit card, we gave a cash tip. So why did I get charge extra? Funny thing is, I take pictures of my receipts when I go out. This is not honesty. I'm disputing it with my bank. Thanks. Never coming back here again.

It's a great place! It's a little pricey but the quality of the food makes it worthwhile! It's so good that it's usually very busy so I recommend that you order take out on weekends and only dine in on weekdays when it's less busy. Be warned that there's always loud music & people there so don't expect much conversation to be going on. As for the food, it's always delicious. The chefs are very talented and experienced, their dishes are always so beautiful & artistic looking that sometimes I feel bad eating them. Overall it's a great place to eat and one I highly recommend!

So I came in here on a Tuesday around 4PM. Keep In mind this was the first day the COVID19 restrictions had been lifted. It was also a really hot day and I believe their seating inside wasn't available yet due to renovations. The waiter seemed to be very friendly and attentive in the beginning. Given that it was our first time there we had a few questions about the menu and the waiter was able to give us great feedback. Once we received our food the presentation looked great. Also the food there is really good. I recommend the surf & Turf. So my only issue was that when the waiter took my card to pay our check it took almost 20-30min to get my card back. We noticed other staff staring at us like waiting for us to leave so they can seat other customers. We kept seeing our waiter walk back and forth helping other tables but never brought my card out. We asked him like 2x that we needed our card. Finally they bring the card out with the receipt for me to sign. At this point i was upset and it seemed sketch that they took so long to bring my card back to me. FYI they charge a 4% fee for all card transactions so that already boosted my bill to $5 more. Which is fine. However, I did notice that their copy had the 4% fee included and my copy didn't. So just for safety purposes my boyfriend said make sure to write the exact total on your copy because we already felt sketch on how long it took for them to bring my card back. We left a cash tip and when the bill posted to my bank account i was charged $12 more!?? I called them to explain the situation and the manager said maybe there was an error in the system?? Really?? I don't think so!! I think someone purposely charged my car more. He said he would call me back once he looks into it. ...

I was around the area and craving sushi. I googled near by restaurants and this showed up. For anyone wanting to come here keep in mind that it’s obvious this place caters to Latinos so you might not get what you expect compared to other places. Just the name itself sounds like “ceviche” which is a seafood dish Latinos love. I’ve been to many sushi restaurants from “fancy” to holes in the wall and never came across one that blasts Mexican music with many TVs covering the walls like a sports bar so if you want a peaceful dinner this isn’t for you. It’s loud in there. If ordering sushi keep in mind that some of the sushis dressings are very citrusy and acidic, like pure lime juice, which I loved personally. They complimented my modelo beers. So be wary if you’re at the bar and the sushi chef asks you if you want dressings on the sushi. You might wanna ask what they are Incase you don’t like lime or acidic dressings. Overall I loved the food it was very delicious. if paying with a card (credit or debit) they charge 4% more based off your total bill. That’s a first time i see a restaurant add more $ to a bill for using a card as the majority of people do not carry cash .maybe that’s why they do it? More $$$ for them so 4 stars for me because of that. Their food is good you won’t be disappointed. They do get very busy so service is not so great. Won’t hurt for you to...

Just left...I've ordered to go from this location and the one in Northridge. Have absolutely no complaints about Northridge. Today we decided to eat at the one in Sylmar, here goes from start to finish: 1. Hostess was very accommodating to seating 5 people in the shade 2. Waited about 10 min to get a waitress, meanwhile hostess told us to scan QR code for menu or look online 3. Waitress came finally, we ordered 4. Missing one Gallo Roll 5. Asked for forks and sriracha for my daughter & son waited another 10 minutes to get them (asked another waiter passing by) 6. Asked waitress for Gallo roll and said she'd check on it came back and said the kitchen was overloaded, just cancelled it 6. Asked for check and waited another 10 min 7. Waited to pay and tip...ended up leaving money on the table 8. Waitress didn't pass by to check in on us and see how we were doing at any time we would get her attention when she would pass by to drop off food at another table 9. Food was good but I did not enjoy since it was my sushi that didn't show up 10. Next time I'd rather just order to go and save myself the time and extra tipping that I felt was obligatory vs tipping for great service. These are difficult times we are all going through, not only for businesses trying to keep afloat but us as patrons as well by going and supporting...
