My rating is the first of its kind because it's the first three star rating from previous rating.
I was initially excited about this place after taking some time and seeing what other Chinese food restaurants were around me.
I chose this place because the ratings and what people wrote about this place was generally positive.
I guess I arrived at a not so good time because when I arrived, there was barely any food in any of the trays, a gentleman's order was bagged up but there were still confusion, a couple was waiting to take an order, and I arrived with my sister admiring the restaurant and how uncommon it is to enter a restaurant with little few food available.
So we waited for a while, a good while, a plate of fresh orange chicken was brought out but nothing after that. When it was my turn to order, the lady who served me and my sister food did something that I wasn't expecting.
There was a plate with chowmein that had already been scooped for someone else but when we got to order, the lady took the sitting chowmein in plate and offered it to my sister, graciously apologizing, and commenced adding chowmein from the tray to the take out plate that had already had chowmein on it.
In other words, instead of serving fresh food because we were waiting, she takes a plate that already had chowmein and used it to take my sister's order. Bizarre but we took it in stride because no one is perfect and it's not an everyday occurrence when a restaurant that is open has no food in its trays. We arrived to a restaurant with patrons but no food.
Quite the experience, despite hearing great things about...
Read moreHello,
On July 25th 2025, I had the pleasure to try a new Chinese Restaurant in the City of Gardena, CA. I saw a post that TaysFood Tours had posted that recommended this location. The food look so good so I had to give them a try.
When I arrived there after work, I was greeted by a Lovely Lady name Paula. I told her what I wanted which was the XO Special Fried Rice with extra onion (no charge😁)and some spicy Orange Chicken Wings but no Spice. Paula spoke with Chef and he (Tony) was able to accomodate my request(no spice on chicken). Paula told me that they can customize my order the way I want it.
When my order was ready she gave me a fork so that I can taste the rice since I had some questions about the rice before placing my order. (IT WAS AMAZING).She told me if il didnot like it they would remake it for me. Now That's Great Customer Service. They aim to make sure there clients are satisfy😊.
I even got a chance to talk with the Chef (Tony) who came out the kitchen to talk with me and he was nice and friendly. I am excited that I finally found a Great Chinese Restaurant that is 10 minutes from home that provides Stellar Service and Great Food.
Paula and Tony THANK YOU for a wonderful Experience! I will see you guys soon😁!

Read moreWe were in the area in the way up from Long Beach to the sofi stadium for a concert. We wanted Chinese takeout. This is was perfect. We like low key, cool spots. Everyone was stopping in here as we were eating, that let me know this was a good spot. The woman behind the counter was friendly and on top of it, each to go bag already has soy sauce, sriracha and chili oil, plasticwear and napkins. Just ask for hot mustard and you are good to go. We got the combo b for two enteees for $11.95 each. That is the current menu price as of my post date. They also have a combo c with three entrees for $14.95. Will come back again if ever in the area. They also have Thai/milk tea with boba, $6-$7 each. If you are contemplating, just save yourself time and go here, save that argument bc you’re...
