My last visit at Chipotle left me extremely dissatisfied with both the service and the food quality. I must emphasize the excessive amount of time it took to receive our order. Despite the fact that there were only three customers ahead of us when we arrived, it took an astonishing 40 minutes for us to place our order. Such a level of service is entirely unacceptable for a well-known chain like Chipotle, where prompt service is usually expected. Additionally, it was hard to ignore that while we were waiting, three other employees appeared to be idle in the background, not assisting the primary server. Beyond the issue of waiting times, the atmosphere in the establishment felt unwelcoming and cold, with the exception of the main server. I also want to draw attention to the unsanitary conditions I observed. There was a table located behind the food counter, piled high with unwashed containers that clearly showed signs of age and neglect, as indicated by the dried food residue. Such a lack of regard for cleanliness not only diminishes the overall dining experience but also raises concerns about the establishment's responsibility and commitment to maintaining a hygienic environment, which is vital in the food industry. In all my experiences, this particular Chipotle location stands out as the most poorly maintained. To add to the list of disappointments, the quality of the food was subpar. In particular, the rice had a dry, stale quality that gave the impression it had been left sitting for an extended period. This is entirely unacceptable for a brand like Chipotle, known for its fresh and flavorful offerings. Considering these numerous issues, I anticipate a comprehensive resolution and would appreciate some form of compensation for the extended wait, the lack of cleanliness, and the subpar quality of the food...
Read moreI mean its a Chipotle. It is exactly what you would expect. However this place does seem to have a problem that I haven't experienced at other Chipotle's: inventory management issues. Four times I've gone, they have been out of some combination of rice, salsa, cheese, corn, chips, or lettuce. It's frustrating because staff failed to tell me they were out of half the stuff when I started my order. I then get stuck midway through with half of the burrito I wanted. Management should have discounted portion of the order or offered a free drink. When I brought it up they didn't seem to care. I've never seen a restaurant take an order only to tell you midway through they can't actually take it and do nothing about it other than ask "Cash or Credit?". Really...
Read moreThe food and service at this Chipotle are above par meeting most if not all expectations. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself is designed largely for delivery and to-go orders, as evidenced by the fact that the entrance is a little tricky to find in the back. Further, the "tables" (more like tiny makeshift counters) are really challenging to eat at in large part because of the limited space and the lack of seating options. Further, I didn't notice any trash cans inside to throw away my packaging after I was done eating although there's a public LA Metro provided trash at the bus shelter right outside. Perhaps the restaurant should be redesignated accordingly (and clarify their makeshift arrangement to allow...
