Los Angeles’ Koreatown neighborhood is known for Korean food but did you know about Hato Sushi, my new favorite LA sushi spot? You can get a quality nigiri (of so much variety) sushi experience here for $80, and you have to also check out their other selections! Each dish is made fresh once ordered and it really does feel like a journey for the tastebuds here @hatosushi_la. Do try their Red Miso Eggplant as an appetizer and also be sure to order their comforting Hato Rice in Hot Stone. Finally, if you’re like me, dessert always needs to happen and here, we had the perfect not-too-sweet, hot & cold treat☺️ We had: 🧅Onion Albacore (albacore sashimi with crispy onion, ponzu & garlic paste) 🍆Red Miso Japanese Eggplant (deep fried eggplant served with miso dressing) 🍣Supreme Sushi Selection, including miso soup & 12 pieces of nigiri (Black Snapper, Amberjack, Threadfin Bream, GoldenEye Snapper, Halibut, Jack Mackerel, Striped Jack, Scallop, Tuna Belly, Salmon Belly, Sweet Shrimp, Hokkaido Uni) 🐟Ginza Roll (spicy tuna roll topped with albacore, crispy onion & spicy ponzu) 🥘Hato Rice in Hot Stone (hot pot with rice on top, black snapper, chive, mushroom, furikake, sesame oil, cilantro & sweet sauce) 🍨Green Tea & Sesame Ice Cream with Sweet Taro Potato Balls

This hole-in-the-wall Japanese restaurant has some of the BEST sushi I've ever had. It's a quaint setting inside, but Hato near Koreatown LA is serving up QUALITY sushi and fun Japanese fusion dishes. Here's everything you should try: - Toro garlic toast, this is like spicy tuna crispy rice but make it ~GLORIFIED~ with caviar and gold flakes on top. - 8-piece premium sushi set that comes with miso soup made from fish bone. Each piece of fish was perfectly dressed and melts in your mouth. - If you're in the mood for cooked items, try the Hato rice in hot stone, this was absolutely delectable with two HUGE chunks of black snapper and so umami~ Thanks for reading! ^-^

Found a next-level sushi restaurant in K-town, Los Angeles! They use fresh fish directly delivered from Japan! From a variety of sushi rolls to omakase plates, from appetizers like Tori garlic toast to hot dishes like Hato rice hot pot. Food tastes super fresh and tasty! It's an amazing experience to try out premium-quality Japanese dishes at reasonable prices and modern vibes & music. Perfect for a date or sharing with your loved ones. Highly recommend their Tori garlic toast, Miso eggplant, Omakase sashimi set, Hato rice hot pot ( kurodai) and Green tea ice cream. Can't wait to go back again!

This is a hidden gem that I hope does not stay hidden for long! The restaurant is clean and service was nice and helpful. We ordered the daily special of sashimi Shiokko (baby amberjack), Hato Roll, Cherry Blossom Roll, Toro Garlic toast, miso soup, chicken karaage. The daily special was very fresh and a fish i havent tried before, would get again. The Hato roll is a MUST TRY, the truffle sauce on the side is amazing. The cherry Blossom roll had amazing flavor! The chicken karaage is well seasoned, juicy, and crispy, and garnished with a blistered shishito pepper. The Toro Garlic Toast had incredible presentation with tiny gold leaf on caviar, had great fatty tuna and seasoned to perfection with garlic. The miso soup is flavorful and also a must try. Every garnish choice was very favorable too. This is my new...
