Recently celebrated my sons 20th birthday here. And am I glad we chose this place!! A+++, !!!From the 1st moment of contact to the complimentary birthday cappuccino when we were done...we were smitten...The service!!!, the food!!!!!!, the flavors!!!, the ambiance !!!! The backyard food and spice garden!! The whole feel of home, the warmth and comfort; being in an Italian mama's home, in Italy, enjoying her family's homecooked meals with her family! ! It was exactly what we like. ..it was such a treat and such a pleasure for all of our senses, we believe we experienced pure joy at Colori's. DO NOT PASS THIS GEM UP. LOOK NO FURTHER. This is where you want to go for lunch or dinner.ANYDAY ANYTIME you will be so pleased. you will leave there completely satisfied and as if you've been privileged with a secret: a cozy perfect getaway from LA, in LA.We ordered sparkling water 3 different appetizers 6 different meals 2 desserts and two glasses of white wine and every single dish that came out of that kitchen was Devine. Our server Dylan was spot on, not missing a single beat, knew his menu, the palette Of the people, and exactly what to recommend and exactly how to treat us all. We met the owner and she was geniune, warm, kind, humble, authentic, truly beautiful in her craft, and perfectly in her element.. really down to earth.. rare for LA!!! Quintesentially thee italian Mama you want creating your delicious meals and providing the perfect enviorment to enjoy them. My family of origin has been in Los Angeles for more than 40 yrs and this is the first place weve eaten at that earned its A+ ranking in every category. I am Italian and I completely recommend Coloris to everyone that's hungry for something REAL and GREAT, someplace that puts you back together ! ..instead of other places. like bougie over the top places that appear fabulous, but fall way too short , hurt your wallet and you leave there hungry, if a bit sad . You don't recommend those places and you Dont return to them. And really they don't care if you do or don't. .RIGHT? COLORI'S DOES! and they give you the service the food the place and atmosphere that makes you want to come back for your next meal.! And the next etc. I absolutely love this place!! I guarantee you will too. So glad we finally found it!!! See...
Read moreAbsolutely deserving of a 5 star review. If anyone knows me, they know I love spaghetti. This place was recommended to me because they have a large selection of different spaghetti!!! Yeah, different spaghetti! You read that right. I dont know about you, but I dont know of many places that serves more than five different spaghetti dishes; so, imagine the rest of the menu. They serve authentic Italian dishes and make their own pasta!!! 🍝 The location can be easily missed as it's wedged between two other establishments. Once you walk into the restaurant's property, albeit modest in size, it's quaint and welcoming. It's a hideaway. My best friend and I visited last night, unfortunately about 45 minutes before closing (they close @ 9pm), but that had no baring on how we were greeted. We were greeted in Italian by an Italian woman, making for the authentic Italian atmosphere. (I would like to apologize in advance if I am incorrect in my assumption that the woman is Italian.) There was one other pair of patrons when we arrived but we were the last dishes ordered for the night and since there were no other orders placed they gave special attention to our dishes because our food was amazing!!! Just kidding...I think their food is just simply amazing and the welcoming atmosphere makes for an even better experience. I ordered the spaghetti pesto with chicken and my friend had the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Both dishes were amazingly delicious and I cannot wait to go back to try the rest of spaghetti dishes on their menu! The place has approximately 9 tables and gives total romantical Italian restaurant vibes. Totally recommend for everything - takeout, dine-in, graduation/celebration dinners, date-night, all the reasons to have great authentic...

If you're searching for the best Italian food in Los Angeles, look no further than Colori Kitchen. Nestled just outside Koreatown, this family-owned Italian restaurant is an absolute treasure. The warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and the no corkage fee policy for bringing your own wine adds an extra layer of charm and affordability.
The menu? Simply outstanding. Their lasagna is hands-down the best I've had – rich layers of perfectly cooked pasta, savory meat sauce, and a heavenly blend of cheeses that melt in your mouth. Another must-try is the cioppino, a seafood lover’s dream packed with fresh fish, shrimp, clams, and more in a robust tomato broth that will leave you mopping up every last drop with their incredible garlic bread.
Speaking of which, the garlic bread at Colori Kitchen deserves a review of its own. It's the perfect balance of crispy, chewy, and loaded with a house-made garlic spread that will have you dreaming about it long after the meal is over.
For something a little different, the trancio di calamari is also a standout. The tender calamari is cooked to perfection and seasoned just right, leaving you savoring every bite.
In a city full of Italian options, Colori Kitchen truly stands out as the best in LA, and its family-owned roots add to the authenticity and care behind every dish. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is a spot that should be at the top...
