Just moved to Chinatown and checked out this hidden gem the other night. The owner/server mentioned she had just updated the menu and recommended the Smashed Chicken Parm—it did not disappoint! Made with ground chicken, it was super juicy and tender. It came with a side of burrata pesto polenta, which was also incredible. I paired it with a lovely, full-bodied Côtes du Rhône that was reasonably priced. They also offer wine pairings, which I definitely want to try next time! This will definitely be my new neighborhood spot!

From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the calm and clean atmosphere—an oasis of tranquility that immediately set the tone for one of the best wine experiences I’ve ever had in Los Angeles. If you’re looking for a warm, inviting spot to enjoy incredible wine and food in a serene setting, Enoteca Del Re should be at the top of your list. It’s truly a standout addition to the Downtown scene, and I can’t wait to come back!
