Food is good but so is Longs Family Pastry down the street. Only problem here is the older Asian lady at the window where you order here at this establishment has the worst attitude. She is SOOOOO RUDE. I've never wished Karma to get someone as I am currently wishing on her. She treated the mixed family in front of me with such an attitude and bad customer service. While they explained to her if she could just label each tray or tell them which is what so they can label as they receive each tray they purchased with the name. Mind you they made almost a $200 order for a funeral they were going to. A couple already grieving and treated so bad after she continued to give them attitude.

To then only call me next right in front of them like having them to leave already because she could careless. Not only did I feel uncomfortable but I let them know she always has a attitude for some reason and my condolences for their lost. I had my notes of what I wanted to order and right after I said the first one she gives me the price which threw me off but I continued with my list of course already so nervous. I made sure to say 3 chili oils at the end so she can charge me because they only give you 1 per dozen of dumplings you order lol.

I get my bag and check and she knows something is up so I can't get eye contact with her so of course she is already attending next person and so I figured let me just go in and tell the other lady. And she literally gave me the worst attitude telling me that the other lady already gave me my chili oil and I told her no she gave me 1 I ordered 3. And tells me I only get one and told her . Ok here is my card charge me 2 more because I can't believe we are literally arguing over chili oil! Lol. And she tells me NO only cash no card and I tell her I don't have cash that's why I ordered them so I can be charged to my card and the audacity to literally put them back away as she is saying ok no chilli oil. Lmao. I could not believe what's going on so I go back to the windows and of course she is ignoring me and I show my phone list (notes) and tell her excuse me Ms. I ordered 3 chili oil I don't have cash that's why I ordered and she says no you didn't and I told her yes I did but why can't you just charge my card and she says No and who knows what else in her language. And I started chuckling ALONG with others in line because I'm sure we were all In disbelief.

All over CHILI OIL!!! I will just have to take my business somewhere else these ladies don't know how to treat customers appropriately. It's unfortunate and very sad. I'm not asking for anything for free. I pray God forgives her because he is a better person than me .

Guess it's time to try another establishment because this establishment isn't going to change since people will continue to support them. This lady is disrespectful and I truly believe racist! I was so happy to go and try this place for the second time while waiting around for my daughter to get out from school. Literally I'm left with no appetite and it's so sad because I was really looking forward to...

Wow Kok is a true gem of a restaurant that has quickly become one of my favorite places to dine. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a truly exceptional dining experience.

The menu at Wow Kok is absolutely incredible, featuring an impressive array of authentic Southeast Asian cuisine that is both flavorful and innovative. Each dish is made with the freshest ingredients and expertly prepared to create a perfect balance of flavors and textures.

One of the standout dishes at Wow Kok is their signature curry laksa, which is absolutely divine. The broth is rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice, and the noodles and vegetables are cooked to perfection. Every bite is a culinary adventure that is sure to leave you feeling satisfied and happy.

Another standout dish at Wow Kok is their Hainanese chicken rice, which is a true masterpiece. The chicken is incredibly tender and flavorful, and the rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The accompanying chili and ginger sauces are the perfect complement to the dish, adding just the right amount of heat and depth of flavor.

The service at Wow Kok is also exceptional, with a friendly and attentive staff that truly cares about the customer experience. They are always happy to answer any questions and make recommendations, ensuring that every diner has the best possible experience.

Overall, Wow Kok is a must-visit for anyone who loves Southeast Asian cuisine. The food is outstanding, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough - it's a true standout in the culinary landscape...

Every time we visit CA we ALWAYS order from this place. Their pork & chicken shu mai’s are hands down the best I have tasted! I ordered 6 dozens to bring home to FL. They only lasted 3 days! My husband and son loves them too! The only thing I noticed over the years is they used to serve “Kimlan” soy sauce when I first ordered from them some 15 years ago.. they were very stingy about giving lots of that soy sauce even if I order dozens of the shu mai at a time. It normally came with the sesame oil with chili. When we recently visited, the soy sauce packets they offered is the generic Chinese soy sauce and no longer the “Kimlan” brand. Their shu mai tasted different without that specific soy sauce. They also did not include the spicy chili sauce that normally came with it. I am disappointed because of this because I am a long time customer. We make it a point to come to this place because we love their shu mai so much, but the way they serve it is no longer the same. This experience will not stop me from ordering from them but when I do, I will make sure I have a bottle of Kimlan soy sauce ready. They also now have a take out window which makes the ordering process easier. They used to have it inside the restaurant, now their customers can just line up outside in an orderly fashion instead of going inside. This is great change for their customers’ convenience! 👍🏼 I give 4 stars for the obvious reason...
