Delicias Bakery and Some — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Delicias Bakery is hands-down, one of my favorite bakeries and cafés in Los Angeles. Delicias has some of the best food I have ever had in LA, particularly as it pertains to breakfast food. It might be unassuming at first, but when you walk into the bakery and look at the menu and talk to the folks at the back, there are a bunch of vegan options (and they are better than some of the hip breakfast tacos you can get nearby, just a tip). For example, the vegan breakfast burrito is basically the size of both my fists and you can easily split with another person and is just as delicious as any other vegan burrito you could get at a “boutique” chain. Seriously, it’s made on the spot and is ~$10. My partner and I always go here and split the burrito, grab a couple of vegan conchas and each get a coffee and a Topo Chico. The people that work here are so friendly and helpful too and never seem to mind when I ask for extra salsa for my burrito :)

Overall I highly recommend Delicias, specifically for vegans but honestly for anyone that just likes good food and good vibes at an affordable price. I’ll definitely be back soon,...

So the torta is just incredible. I got the cubano and bruh, half of it was enough for me. Super good. My bf and I like the torta a lot.

We will say that the pan dulce about six months ago was at its peak. Incredible. Soft. Delicious. I’m not sure what happened and then the sweet bread just hasn’t been the same. I eat the vegan version of concha’s because #eggallergy. The vegan options were so soft and great and then after a small hiatus, when the vegan option came back it just wasn’t the same. I was disappointed. I gave it a few tries and we just stopped coming. But today we came back, and the tortas were spot on so good. And the vegan concha was actually softer and not as dense…like, ok, it’s not what it was but, we decided that we will come back.

Delicias, thank you for the concha today. I was not disappointed. We will be back.

UPDATE 6/22/24 Oh my gosh the vegan conchas are just super soft! Like softer than the regular concha’s and the vegan elotito, dude, the filling is just so...

Posted my review on Yelp as well, but this is one of my FAVORITE bakeries/breakfast places in the LA area. Been here a couple of times now, and can safely say that their vegan breakfast burrito is one of the best burritos I've ever had. It is so flavorful and hot, with soyrizo, beans, potatoes, Just Egg, and so many delicious spices. They have a wide selection of Mexican pastries (many vegan friendly options) which are absolutely delectable and freshly made. The cold brew is also delicious and has notes of cinnamon and some other spices. The staff is lovely and the bakery has an incredible ambiance. On too of this, everything is so reasonably priced, with three pastries, a vegan breakfast burrito, and cold brew totaling to just under $20. Please patronize Delicias bakery if you are in the area!! I cannot hype...
