Ding Tea — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Ding Tea is hands down THE best tea shop in the city. Period. I won't say I am a tea aficionado, but after visiting a good dozen throughout downtown and the valley, I can say none of the others come close to the quality of Ding Tea. Ding Tea has made me respect the whole genre of milk tea.

The atmosphere is plain and sparse...some stools along two sides to sit on. That's it. But you don't come here for that. You come for the tea.

The menu offers iced tea, fresh tea, smoothies and flavored tea...and a nice selection of milk tea. Aside from typical offerings like Thai and Jasmine, are unusual ones like Hokkaido Black Milk Tea and an Assam Black Tea. You can customize whether you want your drink cold or hot, the amount of ice and amount of sugar. There are add ins as well: lychee, red bean (highly recommended), boba, grass jelly, sea foam and others.

This location is OK, not the best boba but it is better than most in the area. Side note for anyone who has an account with them, this location doesn't take coupons. I had a birthday coupon, they didn't take it. I had a text coupon for bogo...you guessed it....they don't accept it here. First of all, Great customer service, and they are quick with the drinks.

All teas are fresh brewed which made my Thai Tea boba outstanding, I also was able to lessen the sugar which made the Tea flavor stand out more. Much appreciated.

My wife loved the Peach Yakult with boba and her Monster Boba Latte.

I like that they have a variety of teas and not just Jasmine and Thai Tea.
