Dunsmoor Bar — Restaurant in Los Angeles

The hype burger that fell flat. I’ve eaten at the Dunsmoor restaurant and it was a five star experience, this time I decided to come to the bar and check out the hyped burger. Unfortunately was not a huge fan and didn’t really understand the hype. Somewhat bland not a whole lot to it, which can sometimes be good for a classic burger, but not in this case. Served simple, cheese tomatoes and an aioli. Fries were excellent but served plain unless you ask for a side of aioli (no ketchup). A house made spicy ketchup or something along those lines would go great with these fries. The staff was amazing, and had excellent wine knowledge and suggestions. really cute bar, but having gone to the full restaurant (which was so positive) i have to say — the bar burger was mid. lacks flavor, was dry, the meat to bun/other elements was off, and on top of it the fries (which ARE delicious) are served dry and you have to ask for aioli and they don’t have ketchup… overall i would skip the bar part and just go to the restaurant. burger the...
