Public service Announcement This use to be one of the nicest place to come to but now it’s become the worst little ghetto bar in east LA. We use to be regulars at this little bar now they have the worst service ever and the worst door security ever. We were invited to come see a friend here as it was his birthday so we left another location just to come see him and celebrate his day. As we arrived this Guy at the door opened it (Tall Bearded hillbilly) and was really rude from the get go. This guy said “What do you want” we all looked at him and said we would like to pass. The Guy (Tall bearded hillbilly) then closed the door we then tried to opened the door again and these guy was standing there again he then said we couldn’t come in and it as late we stated that we were there to meet a friend for their birthday he said so and closed the door again. My little bro then opened the door again and showed him on his phone that was invited then “the door guy” SLAPPED the phone from his hand and pushed him to the floor. We didn’t provoke him or expect that as soon as my little bro got up there was like five other guys out there. This place has become the worst ghetto bar ever as we were standing there talking to this guy two other clients came out of there bleeding from their heads from another fight caused by security. I will be reporting this place to the city and licensing. There are a lot better places to got to like” Villains tavern, Angel city Brewery, Art District Brewery, Blue J’s, M Bar. So I don’t recommend this place or will ever allow any of my friends to go to a place...
Read moreAs a true Boyle heights resident this has to be the most pretentious establishment around. The door man acts like he holds the key to some lost treasure. The place is super small. They only serve beer. (Very expensive) the DJ plays KROQ greatest hits. The bar is sunk in so there is no bar to sit at. Makes for a crowded mess. Above all the owners and staff are not very welcoming. They seem to have the attitude of someone who is doing you an unwanted favor. Boyle heights is poorly represented by this establishment. This dressed up flea circus needs to go. It says a lot when the people of the community choose not to frequent this...
Read moreBartenders and security guards are always cool af. The Dj’s play good music. It ranges from 80’s, rock en español, hip hop (new and old) reggeton, reggae etc… I wish they played cumbias though and more old school hip hop (hint hint lol) The drinks are ok, not strong enough for my taste. Keep in mind they only sell beer and wine. The place is small, so it does get crowded quickly and would not recommend it to anyone that is claustrophobic. Parking is not easy to find but that should be expected in most areas in BH. Nonetheless, the good customer service, good music and vibes,...
