I recently visited Pink and Boujee, and unfortunately, my experience was far from ideal. We waited an hour just to be seated, and once we did, we ordered right away, hoping things would speed up. However, we ended up waiting an additional hour for our food — a burrito and mini pancakes. It turns out our order had been completely forgotten, and we were left without any attention from the staff.
When someone finally came to check on us, they had no clue what we had ordered and brought out only half of our meal. After informing them that the mini pancakes were missing, we waited another 15 minutes for them to bring them out. However, we were told that the pancakes would take another 20 minutes to make because they had another order before us. To top it off, they claimed they upgraded us to regular pancakes at no extra charge — though, according to the menu, both sizes were priced the same.
What really frustrated me was the lack of honesty. It would’ve been much better if they had just admitted to making a mistake and apologized instead of avoiding us and providing unclear reasons for the delay. I understand things can get busy, but clear communication and honesty go a long way.
Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed and unlikely to return...
Read moreCustomer service was pretty decent. Tacos and mini pancakes were delicious! The only thing is it’s very small inside so prepared to be seated more closely then normal to other customers (unless your at the booth). My hope is that they find another system to track who is waiting to be seated. Upon getting there they had a sign in sheet hanging outside to put your name and number which I didn’t care for as other people can see your name and number, so hopefully they develop another system preferably more private than having our number for anyone to see. Also, once we were finally seated by an older lady, and went in line to order, the lady was about to seat the next party at our table not too long after seating us. I understand they wanted to seat people, but need to pay more attention. Luckily another customer who was seated across from us also caught it and kindly told the lady in addition to us reminding her. Lastly, she did come off as indirectly rushing us to leave although they weren’t busy no more. Taking our plates once we’re done is understandable but wiping the table as we’re sitting there isn’t the best look, at that point we just rushed out although there was no line as the rush hour had calmed down already, so didn’t understand the...
Read morethe reason I am giving a 2 star is because i’ve been here twice. The first time was nice, waited 30 minutes to get seated, no complaints. But I came here again with my bf for the hello kitty event and while I understood it was crowded and rainy it was still ridiculous. We get there and we already knew the wait time to get seated would be long so we ordered for take out. My bf ordered 3 tacos de asade and I ordered the hello kitty mulita. They told us it would be a 30 minute wait and to wait outside the door. We waited for almost an hour and we finally had enough and asked about our order and they said it would be done in 10 minutes. After the 10 minute they called our names and gave us the food. we would usually check our food there to see if it’s right but we went to the car because it was pouring rain. Once we checked they gave me pancakes and they didn’t even give my bf asada. We went back to the restaurant and i only let them know about the mix up with the pancake/ mulita and the lady told me “oh yea we were calling you name for a long time” like one we waited in the same spot they told us to the whole time two what does that have to do with the mix up? The whole thing just rubbed me...
