I had very disappointing experience here today, it was my moms birthday and I bragged to her how good the food was here, my mom ordered a seafood soup that cost about 19.99 plus tax which is ok, all our dishes were great but my moms seafood was over cooked and no flavor in the broth whatsoever, taste like water, so my mom let the waiter know the food was over cooked and chewy and the lady looked at us and said it canât be and walked away, another waiter came around and my mom spoke to her and she was nice enough to ask the chef to change are plate, mind you we got something less expensive! but by then we were already done eating and packed our left overs, so she packed the order to go, she brought us our receipt which we notice they still charged us for the seafood soup, we went ahead and paid because we didnât want to make a seen, we left got home and open the lomo saltado which was the plate they gave us in exchange and it had no meat, like 5 pieces. All fries,, I felt that was very ugly of them to do to someone especially when most my family members eat there!! But they no longer will after today ! Very...
Read moreI've had El Hatuchay on my list for a while and finally checked them out. They are a lovely little Peruvian shop with quaint and vibrant decor. The staff were nice however they did get my companions order wrong even after double checking with us.
However the food was excellent so we didn't mind. I ordered the Tallarines Verdes from the All Day Menu which came with a side of Papa A La Huancaina. I wasn't entirely sure outside of beef, spaghetti, and potatos what I'd actually be getting but it was all delicious.
The Papa A La Huancaina was a chilled potato slice with a cheese sauce on top. I'm not the biggest fan of chilled potatos but this was delicious! For my main course I had the Tallarines Verdes, steak and pasta. It was fantastic. The steak was good and the pasta was delicious in a crema sauce with a hint of pesto it seemed. I loved it and made sure I saved some for leftovers which also remained delicious.
I definitely recommend coming to El Hatuchay and I look forward to coming back and trying more...
Read more"I recently visited El Hatuchay in Sherman Way and had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly, which made for a great dining environment. We arrived to find the restaurant relatively empty, which was a bonus. The staff promptly served our food, and I was impressed by the quality and quantity of the dishes. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. I was pleased to find the restaurant clean and well-maintained, with friendly staff to boot. Overall, I would highly recommend Boyles and plan to return for another visit to try more of their offerings. I'd give it a solid 4.5...
