After driving past here a zillion times, I finally decided to give it a try on Easter. They were open until 5:30pm and this girl did not want to make baklava to go with our Middle Eastern feast.
The gal who helped me was very nice and let me know which tray was the most popular. She also offered me a sample to try. It was so fresh and delicious!
I bought a 36 piece variety of pistachios and walnut baklava. It was around $39. Each pound costs $17. Well worth it. My family devoured it! And I still had a few pieces left to enjoy at home.
*Plenty of free parking in the lot. Just west of Cold Water Canyon on the North west corner of Sherman Way.

And I’m assuming it’s handmade. It isn’t cheap. If you think of the ingredients that are in it; nuts, honey, butter, phyllo dough etc., you realize you’re paying for expensive ingredients on top of small batches being made. We got a box and picked out a little of everything. Every baklava had a different taste. Very subtle differences. But it was delicious. I liked them all and I will be back. We spoke for a few minutes and I felt like ive known her for a long time. The place was so well stocked. I purchased the bachlava for my parents who went crazy for them. She made sure that ther package was wrapped well and secure for the trip back. When I gave my parents the bachlava, they loved the taste. Just like from back home when they were growing up.
