Ela Greek Eats — Restaurant in Los Angeles

So delicious! While it seems more of a take out place than a restaurant (quite small, serves the food on takeout ware rather than plates, etc) the food is quite excellent and the staff are wonderful. I got the chicken bowl which I was wary of because I thought I’d regret it over the gyros but it was so delicious and flavorful. No regrets! My friend got the mousakas and (I stole a bite) it was a generous portion and so good. If you want to wine and dine someone, I’d recommend ordering takeout with a light bottle of red and having a picnic (they don’t serve alcohol and the restaurant atmosphere is not for this). If you’re looking for excellent Greek cuisine then this is your place!

I would ignore the previous 4 negative comments that were written on 9-19-2022 about this restaurant. I was in the restaurant when the Live streamer came in. The manager / owner only said he did not allow filming in the restaurant, which is anyones right if they dont want to be filmed. No one in the restaurant was rude to the streamer and no one in those 4 reviews even ate there. What happened was when the streamer was told he could not stream, he chose to leave on his own. After leaving the restaurant, the streamer asked his chat followers to write a bad review, which they did as you can see below. Its sad that good people have to be attacked by scamming live streamers like this guy and his followers.

WOWIE! So happy! Delicious food and very nice people. Wish I could give 10 stars. We go to Greece EVERY SUMMER (except 2020) and have been LOOKING for true Greek taste. The chicken gyro was perfection...tasted exactly like a delicious gyro in Greece. Pita was BIG, perfectly heated, chicken high quality. The tzatziki was perfection. Hubby and son got Salmon Bowl (not typical Greek food) but they raved that all the flavors...the oregano, the olive oil were spot on and yummy.
