goop Kitchen — Restaurant in Los Angeles

LOVE this place! I placed an order through Goop Kitchen, as I’ve been wanting to try their delicious looking salads I see on Instagram and had yet to, until today! I know there are some bad reviews below but this place is awesome! Salads were super fresh, tasty and filling… Totally worth the value especially knowing that you’re getting organic, high-quality ingredients.

Forgot to take a picture but I also added a gluten-free brownie to this order and it was EPIC! Super fudgy with chocolate chip morsels and sea salt sprinkled on top. One brownie is perfect for two people to split.

This is part of a new kitchen concept that I’m seeing pop up around LA… There’s one in Culver City and this one on Santa Monica Blvd. When you arrive there’s a variety of restaurants cooking out of a single kitchen and I love this concept! There’s something for everyone. I definitely will be back to try more Goop dishes, but there’s some pretty interesting places here at The Colony I’m dying to try as well!

I was initially a bit skeptical to try out (yet another) celeb founded product but WOW...VERY impressed with their quality and tastes! They had the 20% off coupon which pushed me to order a few items to check it out and wow are they tasty/filling items! I'm happy I decided to give Goop Kitchen a chance and checked it out. Reasonably priced for a healthy meal option, I will definitely put this into my meal rotations when I need something quick, filling and healthy for takeout. Good portions too! So far, I've tried both their Fall Salmon Bowl and Mushroom carnitas...one bite of each and I was very impressed with how flavor-packed/tasty it was! Who knew healthy could taste so good! Also very nice, aesthetically pleasing packaging used (and I like that there's a spot on top of the lid where they put the sauce so it doesn't get the dish ingredients on the bottom of it. Keep up the good work Goop Kitchen (along w the reasonable prices) - will be back for more! I can't wait to try the spring roll salad and the Brentwood Chinese...

goop Kitchen is similar to bowl & salad restaurants like Tender Greens and Mendocino Farms. Compared to those places however, your options here are much more limited.

I tried the Chipotle Chicken Bowl today and it was decent, but nothing to write home about. The carrot slaw was a bit chewy and didn’t really add anything. The Chipotle aioli and green green sauce felt like they were there just to elevate the blandness of the rice and beans. The saving grace of the meal was the Chipotle sauce on the chicken which had great flavor although I wish it had a bit more kick. I also wish the chicken was cooked into the sauce.

For being a “ghost kitchen” (exclusively pick up and delivery), I think the food should have held up better. If you get a salad instead of a bowl then I’m sure it would have.

Overall, goop Kitchen is an ok spot if you are on the go and want a decent/ quick salad. Just know there are many more restaurants like this that provide more options and...
