Dude, open the gated fence to the field. Dude! Thank you for opening the gate! To the couple who brought their dog into the fields, nah... no dogs allowed. I'm sure you saw the signs but thought, hey not a lot of people using the field... what could it hurt... well, when your dog is off leash and crazy chasing the ball, you can't prevent anything from happening. Like you probably witnessed just to your left in the unofficial off leash area. Another older lady brought her dog on a long training leash.. sorry lady, also not allowed. Same to the gentleman who quickly departed when I guess he saw the couple's Pitty running to play ball..
I feel sorry for the dogs more than the people who try to bend the rules. I had 12 dogs over my lifetime and miss being able to provide a home with a backyard and the time to really spend adequate time with dogs. Life is difficult here in WLA, especially...

Read moreI love this park for so many reasons. It's always full of a diverse group of people. I love the skate park, the accessible playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, community center, beautiful garden, pool, and senior day care.
What I hate is that people let their dogs off leash in the park. This not an off-leash park. There is a part on the side that is partially fenced off. If the dog owners would keep their dogs there, I could handle it (even though, technically, it's also not an off-leash area).
