I’m Thai Brunch & Dinner — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Found location by mistake for dinner, and unfortunately was not up to par with the cost of the food. When we arrived the server/front desk, didnt bother to look up at our phones to greet us. We daid hello, and all that was said to us was "here are the menus, once youre ready to order, please come up here and pay", as she continued to look down at her phone. We sat ourselves, ans the entire restaurant was empty. The menu was very limited, but we decided to order what was available. My husband walked up to the server to place our order, and the server didn't acknowledge my husband as she was still scrolling on her phone. My husband politely told her that he was ready, and she seemed bothered by his presence at the front desk. Unfortunately, the restaurant was out of lemonade. And the water that was in the self-service area was lukewarm and did not taste like fresh water. We ordered chicken dumplings, pad thai, grandma's chicken fried rice, 1 regular Thai tea, and strawberry milk. Unfortunately, my family and I did not enjoy our meals. The chicken dumplings were mediocre at best, as they tasted overly cooked. The pad thai noodles tasted old, and as though they were over-saturated with excessive seasoning to compensate for the lack of flavor. The fried rice was over-saturated with pepper, unflavored, and difficult to swallow & eat. The fried chicken was literally too fried to eat, and had been overly crispy, that even when cutting into the chicken oil leaked out, and the chicken seemed uncooked from the inside. The thai tea ordered tasted as though it was watered down with what tasted like sink water, and when asked to have it replaced the server seemed confused, and stated she had sprinkled evaporated milk. She took the beverage back and used the same one and added evaporated milk which did not improve the flavor or taste. We regret supporting this small business by eating here. I dont recommend it.
