We arrived to LA Monday afternoon and were excited to kick off our Vanderpump rules tour! First up was Jax’s! We arrived early for happy hour and it was quiet, we sat inside and were promptly greeted by the lovely Alaina. She got us drinks promptly and rang in our order for Meemaw’s beer cheese. The food came out quickly and looked great I am from Canada so we don’t have beer cheese but it was good. It was like rich and spicy thick Cheez whiz. It came with veggies and 2 of the best pretzels I have ever eaten, as I am typing this I am dreaming of them! Jax Taylor arrived at the bar and yes - we were star struck. Jax was wonderful, he was gracious with his time, he sat and chatted and really cared about the quality of the food. He offered shots around the inside and outside and was even lighting candles and doing washroom checks. The staff at Jax’s are all 10/10. We felt like family there and were taken care of all night. We stayed for karaoke and the place was packed by the end of the night. We actually went back the next night for the Valley party and Brittany was there - another amazing person. I would go back to Jax’s again and again and again if I lived in LA not just for Vanderpump rules but because the staff and vibe...
Read moreWe travelled from New York to celebrate our friend’s 50th birthday party here and it was fabulous from beginning to end. The space is really beautiful including a warm and sexy, yet spacious bar area with couches and plenty of tables to hang out and drink and eat, a full service bar with the best bartenders and wait staff and an even bigger indoor/outdoor space with more tables and non-obtrusive TVs everywhere for catching sports or anything else you might request. Alex runs the show and he knows exactly how to make a party great and is super personable and accommodating while maintaining absolute professionalism and class. His staff of bartenders and servers should be commended as well. The food was so great and the macaroni and cheese is a must if you’re visiting Jax’s. I would highly recommend for private parties or for hanging out with the “cool kids” and stellar local DJs to dance and forget the world for a great night of fun, great drinks and...
Read moreHi there, it’s Alfie the mini Dachshund again! 🐾 I recently had brunch at Jax’s Studio City, and let me tell you, the food was almost as good as a nice belly rub!
First up, the Meat Lovers Burrito! Yum, it was packed with all the good stuff—meaty, savory, and filling. I’d give it a solid 8/10. Then came the Classic Egg Sandwich… let’s just say the garlic aioli made it delicious! Every bite had me wagging my tail in excitement.
Now, as much as I liked the food, the service was a bit ruff-ruff 🐶. It seemed like they might have been short-staffed(and I know short) and oddly enough, they asked everyone to provide a card to eat. Not sure what that was about! But other than that, everything was still pretty pawsome.
So, if you’re in the mood for a tasty breakfast, Jax’s won’t let you down on food, but just be ready for a little wait. 🐾
Also the price was $100 for 2 so get...
