Muffin Can Stop Us (Studio City) — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I have been ordering from the Studio City location several times a month for about two years, with each order averaging around $50. Recently, I accidentally placed an order at the new Downtown location, which I was unaware of. I only realized the mistake when I arrived for pick-up. The staff at Studio City were very accommodating and offered to prepare a new order at no extra charge. They advised me to call the Downtown location to inform them I wouldn’t be picking up the order.

When I called, the owner told me I couldn’t cancel because the order was considered a catering order due to its size. He said I could either pay $38 plus tip for an Uber to deliver the $56 order to the Valley or reorder and repay at Studio City. He also mentioned that his staff was misinformed about their policy. Eating one will have you craving more. Guaranteed . It’s made with so much love, that when you eat it, you feel like flying . It’s light , it’s feeling , it soooo tasty you have no idea . My daughter and I made a quick breakfast stop on Sunday to try these amazing muffins. It was actually my daughters idea . She loves to look for new spots to try . I had these muffins in Glendale location but the vibe in the valley is different . I guess since I’m a valley girl. It located right on Ventura Blvd . I work nearby in Studio city and decided to give this Muffin place a shot. Stopped in at 12:28 on a Friday afternoon and ordered two muffins and two coffees. At the time, there was one other person sitting on the patio eating and one person at the pickup window, waiting on her order. Waited 15 minutes and inquired as to the status of my order and was told to wait another 5 minutes. At 12:48, I sent my wife to check and was told that they are still working on it. My patience run out at 12:55, 27 minutes after I ordered and asked for a refund. I understand that there are personnel issues at restaurants these days, but I wish I was made aware of delay before I ordered. I wish I could rate the food, but I did not get that far.
