My first time and her 3rd, she picked a winner!!
We go a bit crazy when we go out to dinner so don't be shocked by the amount of food we ordered for 2 people đ
2 orders of Mac and Cheese fritters Onion rings Pear Royale Pizza Mushroom Truffle Pizza Fried Chicken Sandwich Buffalo Style Cauliflower Fried Pickles
The Mac and Cheese Fritters - to die for and reheat really well in an air fryer, which is why we got 2 orders. The ranch dress is good, but the Chipotle mango bbq sauce is rubbish and they should just remove it from the menu, it doesn't complement the fritters and really doesn't go with them.
Onion Ring - wish we would have got 2 orders, they are homemade and crazy good! For the price I would have expected a few more, it's a small order but the taste was worth it.
Pear Royal Pizza - Meh! This has potential but I was expecting more prosciutto for the price and it needed a bit more of the balsamic reduction. I will say, it had more flavor the next day being reheated but still lacking from prosciutto - too bad it could have been a winner.
Mushroom Truffle Pizza - This is just an outstanding Pizza that they got 100% right.
Fried Chicken Sandwich - This isn't on their night menu, but they were kind enough to make it. While I wanted to like it, it's a HARD pass! Chicken was really thin, a bit thin, and the flavor just wasn't there.
Buffalo Style Cauliflower - Another winner that shouldn't be overlooked. It was nice and crispy, wasn't doused in an overkill of hot sauce and was just an awesome dish.
Fried Pickles - absolutely amazing, there's no other words for them - you have to give them a try!
Glasses of wine - price was what I would expect but they don't use wine glasses and the portions were a bit small.
While the restaurant was busy on a Friday night, it wasn't chaotic and service was fantastic!
The one downfall, aside from the few food items above, is the size of their tables. They are WAY too small even for 2 people ordering a normal amount of food. Think of being cramped in coach when the meals come.
Other than a few misses on the food and sitting in coach dining, I will be back to explore more items on the menu and would recommend you do the same!!
Overall I'd give them a solid 4.5, but since I can't choose that I'd downgraded them to a 4 since there is room...
Read moreRevised as of yesterday, January 25, 2025. Because our family had celebrated several birthdays here, we decided to do it again. BIG MISTAKE. I donât doubt the food and waiter service would have been excellent but getting to that point was awful for us last night. I made a reservation and the restaurant simply didnât honor it. They saved NO table for us, throwing us at a large table (we were a party of 3) right by the entrance where many waiting customers were hovering over us. When we asked for a different table (we could hardly hear each other), they pointed us to the indoor-outdoor patio which was louder and even less comfortable as our small party was placed amongst all larger parties. We knew we wouldnât be able to have a simple conversation and we likely would not be served with efficiency. We left and went elsewhere for our birthday celebration. My point isâŚthis restaurant is not for small parties. They clearly donât prioritize their small reservations, but will fall head over heels for large ones. It was an extremely disappointing experience.
Here is my previous reviewâŚcoincidentally, we were a party of 8 so my theory about how they treat small parties holds true. Two times in three weeks, our family celebrated a birthday at The Six. There are three generations in our family and there is a dish on its menu that suits every age, every tastebud, and every mood.
Every time weâve been to The Six, the food is well-prepared, the service is friendly and superb, and our family is treated with joy and kindness. It was no different during our two birthday meals.
We love The Six. Itâs one of our favorite restaurants! (P.S., not so...
Read moreThis place is not very noticeable, and even when your looking at it the letters on the buiding are not that noticeable.
We walked in, the place is quite nice it has in indoor outdoor patio (if that makes sense) service was blah not bad but not great it was lunch so they had a bit of a relaxed feel but from where I sat I saw my waitress behind the bar eating, talking on her cell and twirling her hair. Yeah that was distracting! But the runner was great bringing us our food and clearing plates.
We ordered tuna tartare as a starter and what came was this lettuce wrap of coleslaw and I don't know what but it was not tuna tartare. This was so disappointing!
I ordered A mushroom tapenade pizza. I kind of hesitated ordering it because I figured tapenade the mushrooms would be minced and I wanted to chew on the mushrooms I'm a texture eater but was really craving a mushroom pizza so I ordered it anyway , it came and the crust was great and the flavor too the mushrooms needed a little salt but came whole I was happy about that cause that's how I wanted my mushrooms, but Whoever is making these menu's has no idea what they're writing tapenade means pureed or finely chopped. tartare is served raw fish. They need to work on the wording of their menu.
and seriously don't order the coleslaw lettuce wraps a.k.a tuna tartare should you decide...
