Top 10 Ice Cream in the Valley A small ice cream shop with a TON of options in a random shopping center in Canoga Park. Not the best looking shipping center but they do the best with what they have. We have been to multiple locations bearing this La Michoacana name, all have excellent ice cream this one is no different. Ice Cream: Tons of Flavors, This is the REAL 31 flavors. The ice cream flavors taste REAL. Order pistachio you taste pistachio and you have pieces inside. Order Oreo you get oreo pieces legit ice cream. They have a ton of mexican staples Paletas, Mangonadas, Agua Frescas, Esquites. Feels locally owned and operated definitely authentic a perfect place to hit that dessert craving anytime. Speaking of paletas, wow they are AMAZING they have both milk based and water based ones. So many options. You won't find any this good anywhere else. Price: Cheaper than most options for ice cream in the area Parking: Tons of parking available not an issue Service: Extremely nice staff, very helpful with recommendations and samples of anything you want to try. Worth a visit if you are in the area and are craving something sweet.

I placed my order by phone and picked up. Super friendly and efficient staff. The place is very clean with physical distance markers. Best of all, they have a ton of yumminess to choose from! I had their "Mangonada" and it was extremely satisfying which is sweet & spicy mango ice blended beverage. Their "Bionico" (fruit w/cream) is also delish, perfect dessert yet not too sweet. Definitely recommend for that treat craving.

Hello everyone, once again here at a Michoacana. Came here specifically for a agua fresca. Here in canoga was super hot so this mango-piña Agua fresca hits the spot. If you guys are in the area and want to cool down with ice-cream or agua fresca l, here is the place to do so..They have more then 31 flavorful flavors. The ice cream itself is pretty good here to be honest. Where I was less than impressed was with the service: neither of the two employees bothered to greet me when I walked in, despite there being only one customer inside. When one employee finally came over to ask me for my order and if I wanted a sample, he was nice enough..but not very truthful. When I asked where the ice cream is made, he told me they make it in the back. I looked at him incredulously and he repeated the claim. The store carries a large variety of paletas and traditional ice cream in tubs..there is no way they produce the products here. They haven't the room or machinery to do so. The Mangocolada 🤤 I'm almost shame to say this was my first time having one! It was so good I'm really having to resist the urge to go back and get another one two days later. I think all summer long this is going to be my new favorite place to go. I'm lactose but this is water base so I finally found something cold that I can enjoy besides a smoothie from Jamba Juice. It gives me all the feels of an indulgent ice cream with none of the tummy rocking...
