Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Must be a company wide thing...

I was excited to visit this new location because Chick-fil-A food is delicious. Unfortunately for me, the only location close to me is the one in West Hills on Victory and Fallbrook. Their customer service is deplorable (something I verified over 2 or 3 visits). So I placed a mobile order to be picked up at the drive thru, one breakfast burrito. When I arrived, there were no cars in the drive thru and about 6 or so in the parking lot. I went to the menu kiosk and told the associate that I had a mobile order and gave her my name. She paused and asked if I was at the correct location. I was amd told her as much. More pausing. "OK, a burrito with no salsa". That was correct, should be smooth sailing from here. So I get to the pick up window and wait almost 10 minutes while six employees are all standing around the order counter doing nothing but chatting and playing with sauce packs. I'm now late for where I had to be, so I just ask for my money back. Rather than just quickly giving me the $4.87 in cash so that I don't have to waste any more of my time on their socializing, they choose to get a manager involved and process a credit refund. When the manager hands me the refund receipt, I say thank you and she says "My pleasure". Perfectly polite, but you know what would have been even better? An apology for wasted time and...

It is my honest opinion that this fast food restaurant deserves this rating for various reasons. Let’s start with the food itself; it is what you expect when you go to a Chik-Fil-A. You get the familiar greasy chicken that leaves rancid taste in your mouth approximately six minutes after eating it. This is not a local problem by the way, it has always tasted like this. Although it is more evident in this restaurant. I think the problem is with the franchise rapidly expanding and not being able to rapidly upkeep quality control. Going back to this restaurant, the staff I would say is poorly trained. My order was given to me wrong and I was given extra drinks and sandwiches, not that it’s a bad thing. There is also the distinct reminiscent odor of the old Denny’s that brutally demolished to make this restaurant. This is a great for eating at least once a month but it doesn’t deserve five stars because the sandwiches are simply not the best. Whoever rates it that high needs...

This is the worst chick fil a I have been to. I waited in the driver through for over 20 minutes, and there was only one person in front of me. The customer in front of me was being difficult and I understand that there is only so much an employee can do. However, what bothers me is the fact that when I got to the window to ask what the issue was the employee Camila explained to me that the man was very difficult and there wasn't much they could do, " we can't force him to move." She offered no apology for the long wait and had a condescending attitude. As well, the manager Josie never came to the window to offer any kind of apology.
