La Michoacana Yummy — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I needed a place to sit for my zoom call and I explicitly communicated this when I bought my ice cream & tipped. I got asked to leave in the middle of some deep emotional processing work because he "needed to take the trash out". Whilst I appreciated the hospitality up until that point, I did not appreciate getting interrupted at all, while the place seemed open & I was nearly on the verge of tears and incomplete with what I came here to do.

This, and the scary "15 minute parking signs", are just not my idea of good business practice.

Whilst enjoying my ice cream and the AC, I stared dreamily up at all the depictions of the menu options, wondering what to come back for and when. But now, I really wish I didn't have those cravings, because I wouldn't come back to be rushed & discriminated...

There's something about this place that's different! Not only that it took them forever and a half to actually open for business, but the way they do things, In Mexicali,baja CA they have "Cachanillas" it means The Mall outlet. when I was young my aunt would take my cousin and I to the mall, shopping, hair, nails, Ice scream, and fresh made fruit drinks to cool down! I was about 10 years old, but for almost 25 years, I haven't had something so satisfying, delicious, and nostalgic. Awesome place, 👌...

I've gotten to know the owner since the store has opened up. The staff is always nice. The owner is always welcoming. Everything is fresh. I've seen the pallets of fresh strawberries when he gets them in. The ice cream is great. I come and buy from here all the time. It's quite nice have something like this close to home. I highly recommend the Marzipan and chocolate milk shake....
