After reading so many positive reviews I decided to give this place a shot. I was looking forward to some good drinks and food but that was NOT my experience here. I ordered the cheeseburger, side of chips and a michelada. Where to start! The cheeseburger was way too greasy and tasteless, I couldn’t finish it, very disappointing, how can they can go wrong with a classic burger! My stomach hurt right after, I threw it up along with the chips, the chips were soft and not crunchy at all, the nachos cheese on the side was so watery and tasted stale. The michelada mix was horrible, too spicy to even drink. Sucks that I had this experience here, the location seemed chill, the decor was pretty cool and the server was kind, but they should focus more on their menu items and the food they are serving to customers. Paying $50 for mainly the food items and getting horrible food is bad service, I felt robbed. Hopefully they can make improvements on their menu for future customers. I will not be...

We kicked off our wedding weekend with a Friday welcome party for our guests at LAces. Everyone had the BEST time. We were looking for a good vibes/chill bar with great food in KTown. We stumbled upon LAces and we were so glad that we did. The minute we walked in, we loved the vibe. We worked with the owners Jason and James to plan our event and they were so easy to work with. They wanted us to feel comfortable and pretty much let our group take over LAces for the night. It is so hard to find a place in LA that doesn’t overcharge or isn’t uptight for a private event. Jason and James were so accommodating in every way and we were so grateful. The good drinks were flowing, the tasty food kept coming, and we had the best time kicking off our wedding weekend. Thank you to the entire staff at LAces for an awesome night with our family and friends that we will...

Great neighborhood bar to watch sports without being overwhelming. Lots of tv’s and they play sound for games. Recently acquired locals Bun Shop for delicious bao buns (katsu and pork belly!) I like this place so hate to complain… but my issue is the lack of employees for service. Numerous times I’ve walked in, found a table, asked politely to have it cleared of dirty dishes and waited for 20+ minutes with no action and have to just walk out and leave. I’ve sat at the bar a few times when there’s only one employee working upstairs and it takes so long to just order a single drink. Everyone is friendly and cool but dang it’s frustrating to have it happen over and over. Walking distance from me which is why...

This was a great sports bar/restaurant with Sneakerhead vibes. Solid atmosphere, great selection of drinks and food. I ordered their “Mamba Forever” drink and it was delicious and strong. I also got the double stuffed deep fried Oreos that had a side of green tea ice cream. That dessert was phenomenal and I highly recommend it. I saw that parking was limited and walked here from another bar. Solid location for a Lakers game and it’s two floors. I’d definitely come back to try some of their other menu items.

From out of town and wanted to find a spot to watch Game Six of the NBA Finals, and stumbled across this gem. Owners/Founders are from Michigan, and opened during COVID. I had the quesadilla, which was recommended by the bartender. It was perfect, coming with guac & an onion mix, super filling. I had two upper end beers, and a chicken quesadilla for $30 before tip. Which is solid value for the area. Definitely a cool spot to watch a game, if I’m in the area again, I’ll roll through.
