Let me start off by saying this barista knocked this oat milk cappuccino out of the park!
When I briefly asked her about her experiences of barista, she told me it is not very long although she didnāt identify the exact timeframe. It is clear she can run circles around baristas that have been āin the business for a long time.ā
The coffee itself taste good. She didnāt over extract the shot and overall based on the coffee, itās a hit.
As for the poorly ran business operation, itās a one and done experience.
Specifically due to the closing procedure of counting the cash 20 minutes before the end of business.
Then making it my problem and would not accept my cash.
As much as I attempted to make an awkward situation, friendly and positive she insisted that because she counted the cash and the cash was done for the day she would not take any cash.
A function that back in my retail management days was not done until the store was closed due to reasons for such.
I politely asked how about I just put the cost of the drink the tip and you just work it out on the back later on and we make this fun and easy.
No, not a smile nothing just rude and no customer service repetition of canāt accept any cash.
After a significant amount of unnecessary friction she reluctantly agreed to accept cash into the tip jar and make the drink.
This is a clear indication of poor training.
Forcing a customers payment type is blatant disrespect for the customers paying for your products and services.
That goes for cashless businesses as well.
I will be sure to avoid this place going forward.
Funny how not that long ago I this type of employee action would get someone written up or even fired.
But now thereās a customer service line for employees and an automated system for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can definitely say without a doubt, this is absolutely my favorite favorite favorite coffee shop in the valley currently hands down. I feel like the valley does not have enough of places like this where you can seriously get a good brewed cup of coffee you can tell when they make the coffee The quality is seriously there, especially as it's a nice shake up from the traditional Starbucks or Peet's coffee. You can actually come here. Get something that tastes good and enjoy yourself. This is THE COFFEE SHOP you should be at if you like your coffee I've been here a couple times even before they opened up the actual store location and they very rarely let me down. I think only once that I've been here was the coffee not so great ( they didn't flavor my Maple oat latte ) but I can always give that the benefit of the doubt. One thing I will say is parking in this area is not the greatest. They do have two parking spots in the back but expect that to usually be filled so parking might be a bit of a chore but I can't really blame that on them. This is one of the few places I could say honestly deserves my five stars because I'd usually don't give them out too often as well. The food is actually really good like SERIOUSLY THE FOOD'S GOOD you can tell they tried with the food as well. If you're in the area and want coffee, this is the place you'd have to go to and check out nothing else nearby,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter going for a walk around my parents neighborhood and walking into the Encino Laudrey location greeted by rude and grouchy employees.
I tried to purchase a large cold brew coffee this morning with a $20 bill. Was rudely told that they no longer accept cash for payment.
The customer is always right and it should be up to the paying customer who is paying for the product weather they want to pay with cash or credit card!!
It's rotten of a business to require and demand payment by credit or debit card. There are people who aren't even fortunate enough to have credit cards or bank accounts.
The female employee treated me like a criminal when I tried to pay cash for a $7 cup of cold brew coffee!!
I also wrote an email this morning to laudrey coffee and have recieved no response!!
This coffee place has rude employees and is a poorly run bussiness!!
After being refused service due to not being able to pay for my coffee with a credit card I walked to coffee bean at ventura and Louise where my cash was happily excepted!!
There is also a paris baguette, starbucks as well as coffee bean within a few blocks of the encino laudrey location.
For the tarzana location there is a coffee bean a few blocks away and a peets coffee im tarzana with great customer service!!
Hopefully laudrey coffee in encino amd tarzana will go out of bussiness.
Rude and poorly run places don't deserve to stay...
