Mark Twain Branch Library — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I managed to find the only L.A. library that allows talking on phones and loud eating. Too bad I want neither one of those. The staff is okay. They’re really good at sitting around browsing the web. They allow people to eat (crumple up that bag of cereal/chips, they dont care), talk loudly on the phone (need to tell your girl about the latest fashion and dinner plans? I've come to this library since Ms.Gooden was librarian. I fell in love with the books since my first field trip there. I do miss the old library look but definitely do enjoy the remodeled look. I'm glad I took my daughter to the last book fair held there before the remodeling started, yeah YEARS ago. I do wish the hours were from 9am - 8pm every day, but I understand why the cut in hours.
