Maya's Brigadeiro Brazilian Sweets — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Dance Meets Dessert Absolutely exceeded my expectations! I stopped by to try the brigadeiros and was blown away, not just by how delicious they were (rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet), but by the whole experience. The strawberry flavor was the first one I tried and instantly became my favorite. There are 12 flavors available, plus seasonal themed ones that go fast, so don’t wait!

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I was thrilled to see that the owner is actually my hip-hop dance professor! It’s so inspiring to support a woman-owned business that brings so much heart and flavor to the community.

The interior is colorful and pleasant to the eye. Beyond brigadeiros, they also offer Brazilian sodas, teas, chocolates, cheese bread, banana candy, and baked yuca snacks. I’ll be adding some photos to this post so you can see just how inviting it all is.

I truly hope to see more stores pop up in the future, this place deserves to grow and be shared with even...

In behalf of Blue Shield of Ca, we decided to order totoal of 250 (4 piece) boxes for each fellow employees in Woodland Hills and expanded to our northern Lodi, Ca for a pre-Thanksgiving potluck for each building this week. Instant success! I received walk ins and Skype messages from employees thanking us for giving Brazilian sweets as something new. I'm feeling grateful and proud to have found this wondrous sweet company. We embraced every bite received AMAZING feedback. Maya and her hard working team delivered on time with and even added our logo company quality label at no extra charge. You just have to try these sweets! Dedicated team should be in business for the next 10,000 years or more. Thank you for bringing us smiles. We are satisfied and happy to have found such a treasure in this market....

Brigadeiros are very rare to find in LA, so I consider myself lucky indeed to live near not just any brigadeiro shop, but an incredibly top notch brigadeiro shop. Maya herself is usually working behind the counter, and is such a kind and helpful person with any questions you might have about the sweets. And not just sweets—I also highly recommend the pão de queijo that she makes, perfectly cheesy and gooey Brazilian cheese bread!

Lastly, Maya's brigadeiro favor boxes for weddings and parties are incredible, if you're looking for a truly unique favor that all your guests are sure to enjoy. We had brigadeiros as favors at our wedding, and Maya was beyond helpful throughout the entire process in choosing and designing the boxes, as well as which flavors to pick out.
