ON+ON - Fresh Korean Kitchen — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Easy enough place to get to. But I don't think I'll be coming back anymore. I used to go in there because I like the meatballs. I thought they we're good.

But lo and behold the power of suggestion. As the young woman behind the counter is scooping them into the dish, she states "nobody ever order these, nobody likes them." And makes her face scrunched up like something smells bad.

Uh huh. Great selling point.

Ok. Well her statement sat with me for awhile. The meatballs were thrown out because I couldn't bring myself to eat them. Maybe they changed the recipe? Maybe other people just never liked them, but I did? I don't know. I didn't want to bring myself to eat them after the person who served them to me said that. Well done.

I recently dined at On+On, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, setting the perfect mood for a delightful meal. The highlight of the evening was the outstanding service provided by our server, Jocelyn. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about our dining experience. Jocelyn took the time to explain the menu and offer excellent recommendations, ensuring I had the perfect dishes to suit our tastes. Her friendly demeanor and attention to detail made us feel like valued guests. The food was incredible, with each dish perfectly crafted and bursting with flavor. Everything was simply delicious. I love On + On! It gives me Chipotle vibes but with an Asian twist. You enter and you go down the line to pick and choose the items you want to include in your bowl, similar to chipotle. You pick your base, protein, vegetables, toppings, sauce, and garnishes. You make it uniquely to your liking. So, if you don't like it, that's kind of your fault. Lol

I kind of went a little crazy with my bowl. Everything looked good so I wanted it all. My bowl had a little bit of everything and it was actually really good! The food was light and not heavy or oily. It tasted fresh and healthy is what I'm trying to say. haha
