Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Los Angeles

The bathroom was an absolute wreck and the door handle doesn’t lock from the inside. It’s not because it’s broken, it’s because the handle doesn’t even have a lock on it to begin with. Nor is there one anywhere on the door. I had nearly walked in on someone in there and the same happened to me. The restaurant was freezing cold inside, meanwhile it was also freezing cold outside. Moreover, the service was very slow. They seem to be short staffed. The cashier was both taking orders and giving orders and as a result, it was about 3 minutes per transaction each time a customer would walk up to order. There was a very long line too. I placed a mobile order. He didn’t even call my name when my mobile order was ready. He only called numbers, and mobile orders don’t give numbers to customers. I had to get up from my seat after 10 minutes of waiting and wait another 10 minutes in line to get my order which had been sitting in the window for at least the entire time I was standing in line. I asked the cashier if the mobile order for Valerie was ready yet and he said yeah that it was right there in the window. I told him that no one had called my name. He said that they don’t call names that they wait for the customer to come up to the counter. I told him that’s not how mobile ordering works and that the app says to grab a seat and wait for your name to be called. He argued with me about it but did at least offer to remake my food if it was cold. My food wasn’t cold, but it wasn’t hot either. But I wasn’t about to wait longer through the same ordeal again so I just took what was there. There also wasn’t a spoon for the mashed potatoes in the bag. If i could i could give you 0 stars i would give you -0 stars. I went to popeyes chicken on 08-26-2018 and the service was terrible. I ordered four meals meals and i was requesting an adequate amount of sauces. Ramiro which was the cashier at that moment embarrassed me horribly yelling at me that he couldnt give me four sauces. I stayed calm. When i got home i found out that my food had bedn reheated in the microwave. I knew it had been reheated because it was chewy and it tasted old it was only 10:30 in the morning. The chicken should not look old and should not be chewy. That is messing with food saftey. I did not pay 20 something dollars to get old chicken that could possibly make me sick. To add to this insult i got there in a lyft so now im out another $10.00 because i have to back and make this right. I will not be recommending for anyone to to this location on 2000 Marengo st. Los angeles, ca 90033. I believe this place should get inspected randomly for food saftey. I know the only reason that this location has customers is because it right in front of the hospital. I ordered a chicken sandwich and side order of mac and cheese #1. I had had one earliet that day in onother location so to make sure i showed the lady the receipt and said i want this exactly, and she said i had to go to where i had bought the previous order! What? I said. What do you mean..dont you have that here? She said yes but you have to buy it! I said mam that what i told you...that i wanted that same order and of course i know i have to pay. I felt insulted, i dont know what kind of people they're used to dealing with on day to day basis. the food was for my son so i got home and i gave it to him. When my son went to work his graveyard shift i went in to take out the trash from his room i i saw the popyes bag of food i had bought earlier it was instead of a side order of mac and cheese they gave me mashed potatoes. 😠 i realized cause i threw out the bag of Popeyes (the food was for my son) and i discovered the mashed potatoes that he didn't eat because HE DOESN'T LIKE MASHED POTATOES ..that's why I ordered mac and cheese.
