This isn't one of those Chinese Fast Food joints that packs your to go plate but the flavors make up for that. The prices are decent (about $8.50 for rice or chow mein and 2 items), but they also have items that other places don't have. For example they serve orange chicken and tangerine chicken. I highly recommend the jalapeño chicken pictured above. I might actually stop by often just for jalapeño chicken. They also offer free soup with each combo purchase. The atmosphere is okay, it has a sort of run down dining room and the servers speak fluid English. And they don't try to sell you Sriracha sauce like other places. You can use as much Sriracha sauce as you want if you dine in. I spent about $40 for 4 people which is my goal during this inflation. 🥡

This place was amazing. I think she still wondered, but I’ve been taking care of thid woman Cathy since 2019 . She’s awesome had a great personality and always serves you with a smile. It’s always clean and the food is always ready to serve. Nothing is ever salty or over cooked . My favorite thing here is the thick orange chow mein . But great service goes a long way because my family and I still come here no matter how long time passes by. If you want easy food come here you won’t be disappointed. I love people with great customer service she also gives this free soup . Thank you MS.Cathy

Delicious! My fiancé and I tried this place today (9/29/24) and it was worth it! The lady who served us had spot on customer service and made my whole experience enjoyable! The food was yummy and overall I’m very happy we stopped by! Would come back again! 🫶

Chow mein noodles as soup noodles? Fried Rice Express, you just downgraded yourself to a one star on my book!

Maybe I'm not as Americanized as I should be, but it's totally wrong to use chow mein noodle for soup noodles. For $5.25, the ingredients of the "everything" noodle were good. The BBQ pork was nice and moist. The sliced meat and the shrimp was fresh. The napa cabbage was alright. However, the chow mein noodles were not. The soup was just full of MSG.

I had the order to go. By the time I got the soup noodles back to my office to eat, the noodles were just soggy and mushy. Yuck! On top of that, they only provided a fork and spoon to eat the soup noodles. Who eats soup noodles with...

The food is delicious!! I'm super picky, especially for Asian food, although there's a lot, only a few, are actually good, and this place is one of the good one's. Food is fresh, they have Mongolian beef that alone is hard to find, and especially someone who can make it taste how it should. I would drive to ktown for mine, and watch the older Asian man make it fresh on the spot. Onced it closed, none come close. I'm looking forward to tasting it here. Everything they make taste amazing, even the egg soup. Omg like the one from Formosa, if any of you are familiar with Boyle heights, it was the spot to go to in the 70's and 80's. Glad I came...
