Well, I live around the corner nearby and have come here for years. I bought a couple of things on a frequent basis. Typically I pay $6.70 ... today bam $9.96. Although the promo signs are still up (2) of 7Eleven sports drinks for $3.50 and (2) little 7Eleven chip snacks 2 for $3.
I've never had any problems until today. Maybe the guy had a bad day and no longer recognized me. He gave me the money back... but added this is coming off the new guy's paycheck... I don't think that is legal... That guy should file a complaint with California Labor Department!
Anyways, this store is continously changing hands between corporate and whichever investor they can sell franchise to. Right now corporate owned.
All this bad service all of the sudden. Well most likely, they want to increase their profit margins so they can flip this store to a new investor and then buy it back from them again for a profit. Sorta like an attractive hot potato... I guess investors think that because it is across the street from a hospital $$$ :: wrong! Most people working at hospital buy from street vendors. Better hot food... smiles... Now will even buy their cold drinks from street vendors. Little pricier, but now necessary.
(Maybe 7Eleven makes more money off from selling to franchisees; Corporate sells high and buys back low. But that is just a wild guess. So...
Read moreI went there at 10/14/25 8pm. I've seen some of the other employees there and they're friendly but this particular fellow was unnecessarily rude. This was gonna be my first time using the 7/11 app so I was unaware of how it worked. When I showed him one of the deals that were up he immediately cuts me off and sternly told me to give him a moment even though I wasn't rushing him. He finishes ringing me doesn't even give me a bag for my items and passive aggressively tells me to have a goodnight with the most foul of attitudes. No shade for the other guys that work their they're respectful but this guy needs to work on his customer...

I came into the store this morning to grab some snacks and the young cashier had inappropriate hip hop music playing. As a black woman I found that to be very unprofessional. The music yelled out n*gga every other word. This is how you guys roll in this store? I told the cashier to change it and then walked out. Not sure if he changed it.
