Been going here for years and this is unfortunate but will probably never come back again⦠letās break it down for ya peeps.
The demons came out of waitress and cashier By the name Mary when I came in to order a simple meal and asked for chow mein instead of there typical rice
Hereās the behavior report Mary rolled her eyes at me when I asked for the substitution and then rudely told me that it was a $4 charge extra which is no problem but her customer service skills was like a barking chihuahua on some anger management issues I mean dear god it was terrible.
I asked for a switch of waiter because I personally am not a professional therapist and would not want to tear her issues apart and begin the conversation but go to Panda Express and relax nothing serious but damn
I have a strong feeling staff has changed their approach and went to the bankrupt state
I wouldnāt be surprised if there gone by 2025
RIP RiceWok. Please find mental health support and change your staff...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt is ho-hum Chinese food. Ordered lunch special with Kung-Pao chicken, which included soup, eggroll & soft drink. I wanted hot-n-sour soup. It was neither hot nor sour. The vegetables in it were extremely under-cooked and it was not even hot, temperature wise. Egg roll was a spring roll with vegetables nearly raw inside. Ordered a diet Coke to drink and realized it tasted more like club soda than a Coke. Kung-Pao chichken I know is a spicy dish. Their version is NOT. And I am not sure if it is because it is the lunch special but, I had to look for chicken pieces in the mush they served under this name. Fried rice was okay but not much fried with anything. 2 pieces of eggs I was able to find in a pint size bowl of fried rice. I don't believe I will be a regular customer of this joint, even though it is one of the very few places within walking distance...
