This is among the best pizza I've had outside of NY. It's well balanced, flavorful, and served at the right temperature.
I'm a self-avowed pizza snob, but accept that even bad pizza is usually good. (But that's a topic for a different day.)
I wondered into Prince Street looking for a quick lunch. Being starving, I didn't think too hard, and ordered a Naughty Pie slice and a Four Cheese slice. (I didn't bother to check what was on the Naughty besides the obvious pepperoni, cause just the name meant it was going to be good.)
After a short wait for the pieces to be heated to the proper temperature, I dug in. These were Sicilian style slices, so a little bit thicker than standard NY pizza. The crust was flavorful, and the right texture. There was the right amount of oil (not too much, not too little), and all the flavors blended perfectly. Not knowing what was in the Naughty, I loved how the different flavors (hot honey, ricotta, pepperoni) mixed together. The cheese stayed appropriately melty while I ate both slices, no premature congealing.
There are a few tables inside, and some outside too. No particular ambiance to speak of -- but that's a good thing: The focus is on the pizza, not fancy chairs.
I'd definitely go back here if I'm...

I got the naughty pie and the mercer margherita. And Wow!
The Mercer Margherita stole the show. It was delicious and I practically inhaled it (hence why I don't have a picture.) It was like an explosion of flavor in each bite. If the basil was spread a little more throughout the pizza I would have called it my favorite Margherita pizza. I am firmly against spending $35ish dollars for a whole pizza but this is one that I wouldn't mind paying for.
The Naughty Pie was also a good slice of pizza, but compared to the Margherita it just wasn't at the same level. I loved the sauce and the pepperoni and the mozzarella. But the ricotta and honey were tasty, albeit a little overpowering. The whole slice was a little too crispy for my taste and I enjoyed it, but not as much as the other slice. I would have rather had the Spicy Spring personally.
I will definitely be coming back with family to share with them this delicious...
Read morePrince Street Pizza delivers—both in flavor and in how they treat their customers. I had a great experience not just because the pizza was excellent (which it absolutely was), but because the staff went above and beyond. They noticed a tiny mix-up with my order before I even said a word and asked for the opportunity to make it right. That kind of proactive hospitality is rare and speaks volumes about how much pride they take in what they do.
Now, the pizza: I tried the Naughty Pie—vodka sauce, hot honey, and pepperoni—which hits that perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and savory, all on top of a crisped-up crust that holds its own. It’s bold without being over the top, and the crust has that golden crunch that tells you someone back there knows exactly what they’re doing.
Whether you’re a slice-at-the-counter regular or just stumbling in hungry, this spot makes you feel looked after—and well-fed. Definitely a standout in a city with no shortage of...
