Disappointed too many times by this place. I live about 5 minutes away from here and it is a late night option I figured would become a go-to, but the quality is far to poor to keep throwing money down this broken well. At their best, the tacos are okay and do the job when nothing else is available. Hopefully they care enough to actually put the meat/fish ON your taco and not off to the side because you are liable to get either set up.
The worst part is I tip them every single time, just to get food that makes me ask, “Really? You looked at this and thought it was acceptable to serve to a customer?” It’s not like this place is cheap, and the people working here really don’t gaf about making good food.
I think a huge problem is they pre make things in a fashion that makes the food unappetizing when put together. I ordered a California Burrito and it was finished in about 15 seconds. Maybe less. It was about 40% lettuce, 30% sour cream, 10% cheese, 10% carne asada, & literally 3 French fries in the entire burrito. I’m being generous and saying 3 because I only saw two and I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and say I missed the third. It’s like they just had old fires from previous orders that fell to the side and tossed them in my burrito so they didn’t have to make a new batch.
You’d be best to go eat some disgusting Taco Bell before you come waste...

Relative told me they have recently changed management or they change employees throughout day. Never seen all females in truck.
Recently because of the bike lane on Venice Blvd. The truck is parked far from curb and all customers could get into accidents with bicyclists and skaters.
Tortas were $10 each. My faves are from a small Mexican Restaurant called the Talpa over on Pico Blvd. near Barrington. Pay more but...
Read moreGot the Cali Burrito with tripas. Nice presentation for a taco truck burrito. I don't know why they minced the tripas instead of crispy pieces.. must be a SoCal thing... The burrito had soft fries in them which again was a downer as they we not crispy or seasoned, no beans but it had plenty of veg in it if you're looking for a healthy style burrito, little bit of a letdown overall. But I'll try some different items next time as they are only across the street.
Ok overall, side...
