Parking here is not free anymore ever since the store Erewhon came into the picture. Before them, a certain amount of time was free. You could park, do a quick pick up, put your ticket in, and be let out. The reviewer above is correct. There are no signs of this not being the case anymore! After years of living here, this parking structure helped residents and visitors alike have a place to park. Now, it is a business. If you go up to Erewhon and get your ticket validated by staff, then it is free. Nowhere does it say that, though. People don't know until they are about to pull out and get charged, that they were supposed to validate their ticket with Erewhon staff. There was a huge pile up of cars and people honking because most people don't they have to get their ticket validated now, or pay the minimum $7 even if you come and park for 5 minutes for a pick up. More if it is longer. Where are the signs to let us know of this change before we park here!? Some people yesterday were trying to pull back out of the line after finding out about the new fee without validation with a huge line behind them to go back up and validate their ticket. Huge honking and traffic mess yesterday!! No signs like most parking structures in the entrance, letting you know what you are going to have to be ready to pay. Be honest and put up signs, please. At the entrance. Big clear signs indicating your fees, so we can park...
Read moreParking attendants are despicable. I am a paraplegic and was forced to park in the lower parking lot because the top lot was full. I was onsite in the center for 55 minutes. The lot advertises 1 hour free parking. I’m exiting parking lot in my car and the ticket reads $7. I call the attendant over and say I’m not paying it since when do they charge the customer because of overflow parking??! This awful human puts cones behind my car so I can’t reverse and then watches me struggle on crutches to pay at the machine with his three equally moronic peers standing by watching me. We will see how smart you three are in the morning when I file a complaint with Culver City. You should be...
Read moreGreat family friendly space to hang with good food options and local community feel but parking has become nightmare and new parking rule a joke. The posted first free hour doesn’t apply on P2 which makes zero sense. Poor/nice valet guys have to help people back up to go back up and get validation and clogs exit and any open spots. No signage for this rule. Just “additional parking on p2” Designed for overflow yet if you find spot on P1 you don’t need validation. I’d avoid coming here at peek hours until management realizes their mistake. Shambolic decision by someone not very experienced. Elevators have been busted for some time too. Wreaks of greedy commercial...
