I decided to order all my desserts and cakes from here for my daughterās 8th birthday. Huge mistake! Donāt let their pictures or website fool you. They may look like professionals running their business but they are not and they are awful.
I ordered two specialty birthday cakes for my daughterās 8th birthday. One two tier cake and a number cupcake cake. I also ordered 2 dozen gluten free cupcakes and 1 dozen vegan cupcakes. That never came!
My confirmed delivery window was 11am-2pm, the timeframe I had for my daughterās birthday party at a rented venue. By 12:30pm I hadnāt received any contact by the bakery about my delivery being on the way. So I decided to call the bakery to get an update. Both phone numbers provided. No one answered. I left messages and emails to try to get someone to update me on my order. Surely my $1200 order was being worked on right? Even if it came at 2pm we still had the space to sing happy birthday and hand out cake and desserts. I knew my delivery was up to 2pm at the latest so I waited until 2pm. Theyāre professionals right? Wrong again.
The party ended and everyone left by 2:30pm with no cake or desserts. At 3:30pm when I was already driving back home I get a call from the courier saying they were ready to deliver my order. I said I just need a refund because the party is over and no one was there anymore. It was 1.5 hours past the latest time they confirmed for it to be delivered. From 12:30-2pm I had called them repeatedly and no one answered my calls, voicemails or emails. They just stuck their heads in the sand.
If they had just answered my calls or emails or gotten back to me I could have tried to salvage the situation. I could have sent someone to pick up a cake and desserts from a grocery store or Postmated something. My daughter, family and friends didnāt have to be left with nothing. Anything would have been better than nothing. I counted on their professionalism and because of their lack of it, they ruined my daughterās birthday party.
My daughter cried and told me it was the worst birthday party ever because there was no cake and she didnāt get to blow out her candles while her family and friends sang happy birthday to her.
AND when another mom saw me pacing on the phone stressing and asked me what was wrong and I told her the desserts and cake have not yet come and they are not answering my calls or emails, she asked what company I used. I told her it was Sweet Eās. Her eyes grew wide and she said THEY DID THE SAME THING TO HER 2 WEEKS PRIOR AND RUINED HER DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY PARTY AS WELL. My experience is not a one off or rare mishap. This is just how they are. And they are awful. It took me 3 days before I was able to get a hold of anyone. Not because they checked their inboxes and got back to me, they made no attempt to reach out. I had to call them repeatedly for days until someone finally answered to get my $1200 back.
Iāll be using Baby Beaās Bakeshop instead in the future. A little more expensive but worth it for her beautiful work and...

That cake was my first purchase with this bakery and was one of the best cakes Iāve ever had. I really was just trying to hold onto my first experience. Unfortunately the quality has gone down completely. The two stars in this review are for presentation not taste, the taste /flavor gets zero. I have had to go back and forth on one occasion about them being stingy with the gold flakes I paid extra for on my custom cupcakes as well! Not only that but I am sure they now use box cake mix. The last cupcakes and cake Iāve had tasted stale and like it came from a box. Such a disappointment how this place has gone downhill! They are rude and do not even remember their return customers. They treat you like a stranger each time . Not the kind of bakery Iām used to. Unfortunately they have lost me as a customer. Cutting corners and not knowing who your loyal customers are will always be a demise to a once successful business. Numerous attempts to contact the business have been met with disappointment. Phone calls yield no response, and the voicemail is perpetually full. Email communication with customer service representative Nitza has been equally fruitless, with three consecutive days passing without a single response.
The quality of customer service in this instance has been nothing short of disappointing and, frankly, infuriating. This experience stands in stark contrast to my previous positive encounter with the business, which is why I returned as a customer. It's disheartening to witness such a decline in service from a company I once held in high regard.
In all honesty, I cannot recommend this business to others, unless one possesses the patience of a saint and lacks any time-sensitive constraints for their order.
