After visiting my mom at the rehabilitation Center in Highland Park, my wife and I were very hungry after a long day then decided look around entering in this shopping center where a Superior Mexican market. We notice this taco shack and decided to try it out. When we saw taco shack they were selling lottery tickets and smoke ahop and food in one place. We were looking at the menu display and other specials they have. We order two orders of their taquitos and my wife order al pastor burrito then I order a carnitas burrito. Then was curious about shop next the Taco Fiesta called Kitchen Mouse it was close but it's a coffee shop also they sell sandwich, pastry other items. Then I pick our food up everything is all wrapped I open my taquitos it comes two taquitos with guacamole sauce smother on tap the taquitos. They were very good they out alot of the guacamole sauce we both enjoy. Then I took a bite of my carnitas burrito it really the carnitas was well season cooked very tender and shredded fine then add lime to the burrito that was good then I decided at the guacamole sauce to the burrito it more flavor to the burrito I really enjoy . My wife enjoy her al pastor burrito and adding the guacamole sauce to her burrito she enjoy. We need come back again to Taco Fiesta.

This place is a land mark in Montecito Heights/Highland park. It has been here as long as I can remember and has not missed a beat. Let's just say I'm passed the age of 40. The menu is what you look for in a walk-up window hamburger joint with an small outdoor eating area if you choose to eat there. Their hard shell ground beef tacos are the bomb. Always has been the bomb. Its a must when I order anything. Recommend.

Read the reviews and had to stop by this place. The taco are just okay at best. Do not order the avocado fries, unless you really like taking chances like me. But look at the picture and you be the judge.

I've been putting this review off for a while now as I couldn't exactly find the words to express how grateful I am that this place exists. While many might snub it on location alone, and while it may not be the most authentic Mexican joint around ( Owners actually Thai), this is in my opinion the best Mexican joint in all of Highland park and one of the few OG spots hat remains after all of the gentrification in the surrounding area. I've lived here all of my life, and while sone of you may laugh, Taco Fiesta has been the bedrock to my life. Whether rain or shine, through hell or high water, Taco Fiesta provides me with the consistent quality i need to continue. The milkshakes are awesome, the burgers are awesome, and of course the Mexican food here is fing awesome. The chicken, my god the chicken here is in a world of it's own, for your sake try the chicken soft tacos (with green sauce), and tell me they're not some of the best you've ever had. I can't imagine what my life would be without this place. I've never had a bad experience here, everyone here is awesome, and the owner Sam is truely a saint. In a world that's everchanging and filled with uncertainty Taco fiesta has provided me with a consistency that's only been paralleled by the likes of breadnbutter and Earths orbit. I'd like to think we can all benefit from a little Taco Fiesta in our lives, and I think the world would be a better place if there were more Taco Fiestas out there, so do yourself a favor and pay Sam a visit. I can't guarantee that it'll change your life, but you won't be as hungry as you try.

Thanks Sam for everything !!!! Be...

I haven't been here for many years, today I visited and wasn't as thrilled as I should have. My Bean and cheese burrito wasn't great, the beans had no flavor, tasted like water, no salt, no oil, no nothing, this is the main ingredient and the Beans must stand out, Very disappointed, the tacos were good, bun taco was ok. Taco Fiesta please fix the Beans to the original formula! Ad salt or beacon if necessary to...
