TAZA CAFE — Restaurant in Los Angeles

In the desert of LAX's neighborhood food offerings, Taza is an oasis of inexpensive coffee, Mexican and American breakfast choices, and extremely reasonable lunch prices.

Skip the Denny's, keep walking past the Starbucks in Marriott, stop here for a quick and friendly place filled with TSA employees and other local workers who know where the best food for the best price is.

My fav: the chilaquiles with red salsa, generous cream and cotijo cheese, topped with two eggs sunny side up that coat it with rich egg yolk when you cut into it.

Went into TAZA today and had their Chi ken Strips and fries. The portion size was very good. The food tasted very good. The food tasted like the oil was clean not like it had been used for weeks or months. Overall it was a nice little restaurant. The only downside to it is that if you aren't walking you might not be able to find it, however there was a steady stream of customers coming into it while I was there. That should say something about the food as it's not something easy to get to, yet people are still willing to...

Like other reviewers, I came here because I was staying at the Hilton next door and the breakfast here was so much more affordable. I paid the same here for my omelet plus iced latte what I would have paid for just a breakfast sandwich next door. The young ladies at the register were so sweet and professional, and my horchata latte was a true highlight!
