I recently had the pleasure of dining at Social Market & Eatery, located in the Los Angeles Airport Marriott. The restaurant is spacious and inviting, with a modern ambiance that is perfect for both casual and business gatherings.

For breakfast, I was impressed with the wide variety of options available. I opted for an omelet, which was cooked to perfection and served with delicious hash browns. The presentation of the food was also impressive, and it was clear that the chef takes pride in their work.

The service at Social Market & Eatery was attentive and friendly. My server was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to answer all of my questions. They were also quick to refill my coffee and water, which was much appreciated.

While the prices at Social Market & Eatery are on the higher side, I believe that the quality of the food and service justifies the cost. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience.

Pros:

Wide variety of breakfast options Excellent food quality Attentive and friendly service Modern and inviting ambiance

Cons:

Prices are on...

Food was good, but service was abysmal. I know staff is limited and all that during COVID, but there are some things that don't take that long. Hostess was taking 5-10 minutes per person just for them to check in. Take a name and give an estimated wait, that's it. Then we were seated in an empty section, our waiter only had 3 tables the entire time we were there. It took 15 minutes to put in a drink order, then 10 minutes to get the drinks, and 40 minutes for food which is ok, not great. We didn't order anything that required that much cook time. The final straw was at the end when it took 20 minutes to get 1 scoop of ice cream and 2 chocolate chip cookies. Our waiter told us we were just waiting on the cookies. We were thinking they were baking them fresh for the amount of time it took. These cookies came out cold and you could tell they were just right of the...

I went for breakfast yesterday morning and the food was decent but I'm giving this place a low rating because the male server that was working at the time went out of his way to ignore me and was extremely rude. Every time he walked by, he didn't look at me and only asked the people sitting at tables around me if they needed anything/how are things. The only other server there was a very kind lady and only when she went on break did the male server start to acknowledge me (bc he was forced to now and he still did not say a word until I got up to leave after paying). That really ruined the entire experience and it really felt targeted. I did not get the male server's name but shame on you for actively being such a nasty and...

Waited 30 minutes for one pizza order … it was 3 pm and there were two other tables in the entire restaurant. Very strange as one of the table had a chicken salad order come out and sent back as the chicken wasn’t cooked - and an entire new chicken salad came out while I was still waiting. As soon as I was finished the waitress came with my bill - odd that they were quick to get me out. Not that I had my laptop and was working (not in view of any other guests) quietly. The Mexican pizza was more of a flatbread with bagged cabbage mix salad on top, cheese and fake chicken. The avocado was the only enjoyable part of this so-called pizza.

Service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and honest when answering our questions. She was the best experience of the evening. Food is subpar and overrated for what you’re paying. Flavour was bland, unseasoned and while I’m sure the ingredients were fresh, they had a texture similar to items that have been rehydrated. Ordered one cocktail that sounded intriguing. Unfortunately it tasted like what I would imagine wet sweaty sour socks after being wrung out would taste like.
