I got a cut/color from this salon (I won't say the hair dressers name because she was very sweet and she tried to help). Unfortunately it was not at all what I was expecting. The cut was amazing, one of the best hair cuts I've ever had in my life. However, I got highlights and they came out very splotchy. I looked like a cheetah. I went back the following week for a touch up, and by that time the color had already faded into a weird brassy orange... super disappointing. When I was in the chair, everything looked great! I even ended up buying some shampoo that was recommended to me. However, when I got home and started styling my hair, I noticed that the under layer of my hair was still splotchy! I couldn't pull my hair up or else it would be visible. I tried to give them a chance to fix my hair, but I was going on vacation the next week and didn't have time to go back in. I called and explained to them I was unhappy and I was told that I would receive a refund within 15 business days... 15?! In the meantime I left the country, didn't have internet access and felt uncomfortable checking my bank account overseas (had problems with that before). I got home almost a month later to find that not one penny had been refunded! Not even for the botched color! NOTHING! I called and spoke to the person at the front desk (they would not allow me to speak to Tara - the owner). They said that they were not able to refund me because refunds are only honored within two weeks of receiving your service. I was a little shocked considering I HAD asked for a refund, I WAS TOLD I was going to get one, all to find out that whoever I spoke to on the phone did not give me correct information. Damien, the front desk receptionist, is very helpful however even he wouldn't accommodate me... In fact, he wouldn't even listen to me. Tara did call me back once but I was at work and asked if I could call back later. She said yes. Since then, I have called around 20+ times to try to speak to Tara and every single time she is "unavailable" or "not in today". I ask to leave a message, I ask for a call back, and NOTHING. I called again this morning and how much do you want to bet that I wont be receiving a call back?! It takes 5 minutes out of the day to call someone and apologize for the service that they have received. Not only did I get a splotchy color, but I paid almost $250 for highlights that turned orange in a WEEK. They refuse to even listen to me. The last lady I spoke to on the phone said "You do realize that she runs a business and doesn't have time to take every single call, right?" I replied, "Yes, but part of running a business is satisfying your customers and unfortunately, that isn't happening." To which she replied (very sarcastically) "Well since you're SO UNHAPPY I will tell her to call you back so you can be happy" That's no way to speak to a PAYING CUSTOMER... and did I get a call back? NOPE! I'm so disheartened because one of my very close family friends AND my cousin both recommended me to Tara. They get their hair done by her personally and I would have too if she wasn't so busy. I really expected her to run her Studio better than this. I am shocked, honestly. I wouldn't recommend this place. They have great hair dressers, but terrible customer service skills. If it wasn't for the attitude I get when I call, and if I had received a call back the FIRST TIME, I would actually consider getting my hair cut here again (not COLORED). However, if you aren't booking with Tara personally... Don't waste your time. It isn't worth the headache. There are plenty of other salons who cater to their customers and actually...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came to Trilogy Hair Studio this year to consult with the stylists there on how best to approach my thinning hair. I'm 38 and have hardly any hair left. Every year it keeps getting thinner and more brittle. So, I had a consultation with Amy where we discussed my options. At the end of the session, she gave me the best cut I've had in years. It helped define what shape I had left and our discussion that day left me feeling good about my options. She referred me to Kayle, the resident extensions lady. Kayle took the time to discuss all of the different extensions methods and which would best suit me. Being new to the extensions game, she helped to educate me by letting me look over and play with some extensions she had in reserve. She's extremely knowledgeable about the different methods out there. She gave me advice on how best to shop for the extensions, application method, and even gave me her information so that I could get a discount when I went to buy them. I've been extremely satisfied with the results from both of these women. And they're really chill, laid back girls here. I'll miss them when I move from LA. It's so hard to find a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmanda is phenomenal!!! Sheās cut my hair now twice. First after a disastrously bad haircut with someone else at a different salon, which she helped reshape to the extent that was possible before the hair could grow back (she also fit me in immediately and didnāt charge me to reshape since a full cut was not yet possible, which was such a kindness). And second once the hair had grown back enough for a proper cut. Itās my favorite cut Iāve had in many years. And she is awesome. I canāt say enough good things about her. So glad...
